How This Guy Makes Amazing Sand Art - Obsessed

FBTwitterReddit

video description

Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
Artist Andres Amador takes playing with sand to a whole new level. His free-flowing and fractal-inspired works of art exist for only a short amount of time, eventually getting swallowed up by the ocean's tides. But, in that timeframe, Andres is able to create unique pieces that are indelible and impactful

imagine making fractal art like this, in cement
I imagine walkways with designs
I imagine roads and parking lots all with designs
I imagine a neighborhood or a city street -no bumpers no curbs, just cement and etched designs - designs with etched writing and information
no more bricked mismatched or broken brick walkways but planned out flat surface my gran can pull her stroller thru and it's not an eyesore
just a thought

This series is great but we-re coming up on a calendar year since a woman-s been featured on it. Any chance that-ll change any time soon? It-s embarrassing to show the series to friends and have an endless stream of -This Guy- titles.

It would be amazing for him to go out on to golf courses after night time rain and do smaller scale patterns in the sand traps, they could become the new -crop circles- and I personally think it would be cool as all get out.

i think musicians can relate. -letting go- happened a lot before recording devices were ubiquitous, but also with improvisations to this day. we-re always creating and letting go

I made really cool sand art once. i made a hedgehog walking through the forest. but this was different. you put glue on a canvas and sprinkle sand on it

Based on his experience with large hand-made art; I'd like to hear his theory of how the Nazca figures in Peru were made.

Reminds me of the guy whose hobby is to stack stones into a beautiful shape. It was on wired too. Great series.
