This is absolutely amazing. I've always been so fascinated by stop motion since I was a kid because one day a claymation educator visited my school and allowed us to make our own super short claymation vids. There are so many layers to stop motion movies these days, it's really just awe-inspiring.

I-m sorry but I don-t like these kind of stop motion animations, too much blue/green screen, cgi, copy and paste w/e is added. Like with the Laika-s Missing Link. It makes it feel like a 3d animated film which leaves me to wonder why they couldn-t have done it digitally in the first place.

The finished product looks so gorgeous and oozes with character in a way that I haven't seen achieved by some of the mass-produced CGI animation. It's really special that these types of productions are around, considering the nature and competitiveness of the industry

When I saw the trailer and saw the texture of some of the puppets, I was wondering if they had used needle felting and it seems they did. That's a very time consuming technique, but it looks so good---

This is impressive but CGI has reached such a level of realism that I wonder what argument could be made to defend making a new stop-motion movie besides -it's more cool this way-.

Shaun of the Sheep is a good movie, but I hope we won't have to wait too long before another Wallace and the Gromit film. A sequel to Chicken the Run would be neat, too.
