Being a student of the apocalypse, I appreciate this unusual but true aspect: Zombies are extremely improbable but the most probable danger once the event is over, is the human race. This story has all the usual horror and danger, but monsters are not involved, only HUMANS. On the other hand, the inaction of other nations, limiting the apocalypse to the USA, is troubling.

Kinda disappointed to hear Jack being stabbed by a female soldier that is responsible for helping kill every adult and imprisoning kids ad he's trying not to hurt her. Jack is a little slow to think when it counts most

I absolutely love this series but it’s super annoying that the cursing is censored out. If somebody cannot handle the language then they should stay away from the books I think it’s pathetic.
