OLIVER TWIST by Charles Dickens - FULL AudioBook Greatest AudioBooks (P1 of 2) V4 Im about 5 1/2 hours through the book. I thought the first 90 min or so was interesting when Oliver was at his 1st place of residence. Then when he moved the 1st 30 min was fine. Then I feel like the novel bogs down. The new characters arent well developed or that interesting. Am I missing something Do others feel the same I still have almost 2 hours left n will listen on.

Narrate, narrate, narrate, dialog. Narrate, narrate, narrate, dialog. You have to appreciate how the lens zooms in and out as needed. Charles Dickens pulls off this shifting point of view flawlessly. Narrative insightful information for this character, narrative insightful information for that character, now walk in his shoes during this scene, so you can FEEL it. Brilliant.

Haha, this book is so sarcastic. Look, she managed to feed the orphans on LESS than what the government gave her! What a smart lady. Look, they made being poor even LESS desirable and harder to get out of, how wise they are! It's almost witty if you didn't know this was a reflection of the conditions of poverty back then, and in some ways still continues today.

My favorite narrator of all time. He also narrated 'David Copperfield'. He does a wonderful job bringing these books to life with a unique voice for every character. This is one American who really appreciates the melodic tones from her ancestors homeland. Thank you for taking time to read this for our great pleasure.

Thank you very much, I am having a hard time concentrating because of mild depression on the written word. Listening to your narration while occupying my hands on drawing, knitting, or any other thing has really helped me feel better.
