7: 09: 00 Melisandre is such a snake in the grass to argue Jon's oath means nothing because he swore it before a heart tree instead of the Lord of Light. Whether sworn before true gods or false, an oath is still an oath. You swear it to yourself.

I never knew how old these books were. We will never see book 6 and 7. Worst part being we won’t get Roy avers narrations of them.
