The 8th Army occupied Benghazi for the third time on 20/11/1942 and the city passed through a state of chaos, violence and lack of security and authority. The defeated Italian army started to withdraw to Ajdabiya and they were hungry and exhausted. Heinz included that 20-year-old German soldier, Tah Heinz among the prairies and became afraid of any place where human beings exhausted fatigue and hunger, until he reached one of the Bedouin hamlets and as he approached the Bedouin camps until he saw the boys collecting eggs, Heinz to the children to give him an egg and what to give One even smashed it, drank it and fell out of fatigue. Heinz wore a ring with the Nazi emblem on one of his fingers, so they knew he was a defeated German soldier. The family loved Heinz and worked with them to graze livestock. With the years, he learned some Libyan words and married a Libyan girl, where he found them at a water well where he admired her beauty and kindness.

Le Silence de la Mer tops the list for me. I appreciate its subtlety in direction, acting, and choice of music. Romantic tension abounds despite the fact that the romantic leads never touch or kiss, or even have a conversation. In fact, Jeanne never speaks to Werner (until the very end, and it-s just a single word. It-s a film in which the language of romance plays out in metaphors, Bach, and their facial expressions (particularly, the eyes. Even if a character doesn-t say anything, you know what he or she is thinking (including Jeanne-s grandfather)

The silence of the sea.
Is the best directed movie, where
Volcano of emotions is forcefully pressed inside of lovers heart, can't express to eachother by proposal. no one word of love convey, but create a warm love story.
Viewer have exercise to
Read only face. no conversation.

The real list:
1. The English Patient
2. The Exception
3. The End of the Affair
4. Suite Francaise
5. The Aftermath
If you don-t put -The English Patient- at the top of any list, you don-t know anything about movies.

The Exception was amazing. My only regret is that the movie was not longer (and that there wasn't a more detailed ending. It is pretty much everything you could ask for in a historical romance (but it isn't sappy.

Atonement is a really good and tragic film. I haven't really forgiven Soairse ever since. - Just kidding, she's a great actress. I also love Kiera Knightley and James McAvoy's chemistry

Good luck finding Suite Francaise on the Internet! It was on Netflix at one time but I refuse to support them, so I guess I will buy the DVD.
