DEATH STRANDING Gameplay Walkthrough Part 4 [1080p HD PS4 PRO]

PROS:
- Amazing graphics and landscape. This is where this game is really standing out, actually.
- Interesting story and lore. I genuinely want to know more about how the Death Stranding came about, how BBs work, what really are the BTs, whether its something supernatural or extraterrestrial or something else entirely.
- Player interaction. Leaving behind ladders, ropes and postboxes for other players, even though this is technically single player, and in-game reasoning behind them disappearing after a certain amount of time is actually a really cool idea.
- Themes. I'm getting the ideas of isolation and human connection so far, but whether they'll be expanded on. we'll just have to wait and see.
CONS:
- Lacklustre gameplay. You're delivering packages, and. that's it? Apart from some occasional combat and evading the BTs? I was expecting something a bit more?
- Slow. I don't know if anyone else is finding themselves a little bored and waiting impatiently for the next bit of storyline?
Overall it's interesting enough to keep me watching. but I wonder if the storyline might have worked better as a film instead?

I like the games where your caracter considered as a legend, as the most skilled porter in this case, who get missions that others wouldn't even try, yet after deliver some basic cargos, the game gives you the message, that you leveled up, and the world is thinking you are a reliable porter. Like if you are already a legend among the porters, why the leveling system needed to be in the game? This system has not been thought through for sure.
You could say that the other parts of the world, haven't been connected, but the guys in the secluded stations already know you, and talking about you as a well known someone.

I'm just wondering about the tall trees near the end of the video. They don't get old too fast. But anyway yeah I hope one day I can play this game just for the feel of it. I can't imagine how hard it is to control the character if there's too much stuff put on his back. Must feel like shit.
Edit to add: Hikers may have great advice on how to play this game smoothly without letting the character trip or carrying too much stuff all at once. And he never eats solids anymore it seems, just Monster all the way. It makes me wonder why can he still take a dump.

I was looking forward to playing this game when it came out. I have never been more disappointed. This is one of the worst games I've ever played. Running all over and being a glorified mail man is not my idea of fun. All the micro managing of all your stuff is ridiculous. The character controls and confusing storyline, with labeling of everything (BT, BB, Strands, Knots, Charilium, etc, and crafting really took away from the fun of gameplay. The bike riding was a disaster. It felt like work instead of fun playing this game. The graphics were awesome though.

-people didnt like it when we took the human element out of the service industry- I call bs. You really expect me to believe that people actually cared about that shit? Who's actually interested in establishing a relationship with their delivery person? I dont even see these people most of the time. They're usually gone by the time I get to my door. If customers were so concerned with keeping people in the service industry, we would still have milk men and automated cashiers wouldn't be a thing.

How could this happen? I was waiting for death stranding so hard, my curiosity was higher than mountains. But now I just skipping all the game moments and watch cut scenes. Is it really so bad as I see? Plot is quite interesting but. I cannot see anything behind, literally, walking Sam. Seems like it should be a TV serial and someone said at the last moment 'hey thats great but actually I wanted a computer game. Remake it! '
