THE LAST OF US 2 Gameplay Walkthrough Part 27 [4K PS4 PRO] - No Commentary (FULL GAME) suede: imagine how much better it would-ve been if the game was about abby trying to track joel down, but the player didn-t know her intentions until a plot twist in the end. if we got to follow her on her journey through the country and started to really like and trust her. we could recieve hints that made us believe abby had good intentions: maybe she hears a rumor of joel getting hurt/killed and is upset about it - but while we are led to believe she doesn-t want him to get hurt, the real reason she is upset is because -she- wanted to be the one to kill him. maybe she and ellie could cross paths and become friends as they both are looking for joel (who went missing. then, towards the end, when they both finally meet joel, ellie (and the player) will be completely shocked and devastated as abby turns on joel and tortures him.
also: maybe ellie wouldn-t find out about joel-s secret until this moment, as abby forces him to tell ellie exactly what he did at the end of the last game. this will make ellie even more conflicted, though she will obviously still try to save him.

All of this characterisation with Abby is nice, but considering we still have Joel's blood on our hands, it's never going to get us to sympathise with her. Even watching this playthrough I'm struggling not to just skip through her segments because I don't care about her Tragic Backstory now that she's killed our pseudo-dad. And it's a damn shame because Abby had everything going for her to be a wonderfully fleshed out character. If the developers pushed back Joel's death, allowing us to get to play as Abby first and get to know her, maybe we would have had a wonderful game where we're torn between two complicated characters. It's a shame, really.

well they thought of the game for the lgbt audience, that is, the minority should sell only to the minority as well because the game is focused almost 100% on lgbt and this is very annoying there are many Christians who buy games they are the majority in the west try to pass their ideology as an example something to be followed but this is unacceptable much less to a game that is accessible to children the best part of the game was abby the rest was an attempt to push their ideology of gender this is clear in the part of elly and it spoils the game almost completely

I'm really disappointed by this game. The AI is still dumb, the upgrades are largely useless, Abby is a dull character, there's a lot of wasted developmental opportunities, there's too many narrative conveniences, and the whole story is just too convoluted and disjointed. And it doesn't even have those awe-inspiring moments from the first one, like when Ellie and Joel see the giraffes in the overgrown city. And why on earth is Abby so buff? In the space of three years, she goes from an active but normal young woman to a 10-year bodybuilder who juices.

Oh so we fr fr playing half this game as the girl who killed Joel. Aight lol. Tbh I don-t mind Abby. What she did was wrong, she murdered Joel in front of Ellie. That-s not even something she was subject to with her own father. She needed to understand that her father would have done the same for her if the roles were reversed. However, we came to the last of us to play as Ellie so HALF of this game playing as Abby only makes people dislike her more. They could have made this much shorter and still had the same effect they were looking for.

I'm sorry I REALLY like Abby's character. How she's written and portrayed comes together very nicely. I might hate that she killed Joel but that's not gonna take away the fact that i've enjoyed Abby's story thus far. Naughty Dog knew what they were doing when they released this game. It was rather gonna be a hit or miss with them and that was a chance they were willing to take.

I-m really conflicted. On one hand, I can-t help but feel that we have lost the plot. On the other hand, in a different game, this plot would be OK. It just doesn-t feel like some thing that-s a part of TLOU world. And at this point in the game, it feels really disconnected from the events earlier. It-s like we-re playing two or three different games

Tip for anyone else, just put 1 scope (on the crossbow) and do the other upgrades for close contact. 99% of the combat is within 5 yards. Don't waste resources, make your mods for max combat effectiveness: capacity, reload speed, stability if you can't aim for beans. Check you six once in a while and for god's sake, look up.

The whole thing kinda feels tone deaf to it's own meaning. Abby hates Ellie for Joel murdering a swath of people, including her father. She tells Ellie -You killed my friends-. Then Abby goes on a murder spree. I'm enjoying the playthrough and the cinematic parts are great, just my griping lol

I think if abby's story was from a whole different game it would've been really good and interesting but for fck sake this is -last of us sequel-. It was about joel and ellie but instead we play half of the game with abby and barely get any joel. So disappointed.

Okay, so I guess this is meant to be Bainbridge Island (even though it really isn't all that big, but having them look UP at the Space Needle from there is absolutely bonkers. The Needle is on the other side of Puget Sound.

After walking, wading, and swimming through fog, rain, and rivers without a single break for days on end, I shudder at the thought of the condition of these peoples' skin and especially feet under their clothes

At first I was confused why everyone was shitting on this game but now I understand. Why did the developers give to much attention to a character that murdered and tortured our favorite character
reply

Hahahahaha trying to make me like a vengeful murdering character who's dad, let's not forget, was -GAMBLING AWAY SOMEBODY ELSE'S LIFE WITHOUT EVEN ASKING THEM-? Am i missing something here? LOL

I really can't get over those large female Scar enemies (or what I like to call, Big Bertha) that wield the giant hammers. Really the epitome of pandering. Keep up the good work though MK!
reply

Yara: hurry, the village is under attack and my little brother could be killed at any moment!
MK/Abby: oh yes what a perfect time to stop and upgrade my weapons

Youre the REAL MVP, for getting all the content out over the last 48 hrs (shocked at the length of this gameplay though hasn't to be one of the longest games ever)
reply

Abby is basically doing what Isaac wanted. killing a bunch of scars. The gameplay of this mission is cool but the mission itself is really nonsense.

If i take the comment section seriously, then in a real -last of us- case scenario, most of us will be worse than the characters in the game.

That's a 13yr old for ya. they don't listen for squat! But then again they've only been alive for a little over a decade
reply

Defending yourself is the only time I see killing someone else as ok. Still really crappy but if it's you or them, choose you.
reply

Tbh Abby seems like a very nice girl who did a huge mistake (couple of times) but still, she doesn't seem like a bad person.
reply

It would have been better if Joel died in an accident and tells Ellie -hey kiddo, my luck had to run out sooner or later-
reply

I'm happy for the fast uploads but this game. ugh i can't wait until it's finally over. I hope the ending is close.
reply

I know you've probably finished the game by now, but remember to compensate for bullet drop and travel time
reply

-You were defending yourself. You did nothing wrong. -
Oh, like Joel defended himself from Abby-s dad?
