Remember when White Wolf and. I think it was Activision developed a Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Heart of Gaia game back after Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption launched? Apparently that Werewolf game wasn't very good either, so White Wolf pulled the plug. The Hunter: The Reckoning games for the consoles were good, though.
(But I'm pretty sure that we can forget about ever seeing computer RPGs based on Mage: The Ascension, Wraith: The Oblivion or Changeling: The Dreaming. Mage's True Magick system? Way too complicated for video games! Changeling's Arts and Cantrips? Too complicated for video games. Wraith's cosmology, Shadowguiding and Passions (and the vast, nebulous scape of human emotion from which wraiths draw Pathos? Too complicated for video games, not to mention that, unless you're up against enemies with access to Soulforging, wraiths are just about impossible to kill and they might need to undergo _dozens_ of Harrowings before they finally erode into nothingness. So no Wraith video games, no Changeling video games and no Mage video games. We can dream, though)

In all honesty I can understand why people are giving this game a bad rep. Personally I like it. Sure the graphics aren't that good and the voice acting isn't outstanding. But gameplay wise I think this does well. Not amazing but entertaining enough to warrant playing at least once. Which personally is what I actually care about the most in a werewolf game. After all if it wasn't fun tearing everything apart as a werewolf then it would fail immediately no matter if the story and graphics were really good or really bad. All we can hope for is that this game gets enough love to warrant a sequel where they'll hopefully make great improvements to it as a whole. But for now while it isn't perfect it's at least good enough for those who just want to rip and tear as a big bad Werewolf.

No - couch Off line local multiplayer co-op really $ucks huge letdown from Naco this game should of been a 2 or 4 player's single player is boring.
Killed Silver fang Rodko was mistake -- he could been saved and do 2 players co-op and played as Cahal and Rodko would of given 10 out 10
We need Werewolf apocalypse 2 game with Off line local couch coop multiplayer

Ok you know what the guys who made Maneater should've worked on werewolf the apocalypse I mean think about it they made a fun open world game about being a shark and just murdering everything in sight growing bigger and more powerful while taking out bosses like Apex animals and shark hunters they could easily make an open world werewolf of the apocalypse game where we fight the forces of the wyrm and also regular humans that try to hunt us down if we kill too many people and there will be legendary werewolf hunters that come after us and they use different tactics and have special abilities to take us down and also special legendary wyrm enemies to hunt down as well. we need an open world free roam werewolf game

The wolf and werewolf forms don't look to bad. Overall the game feels rushed and low budget. I honestly don't mind the graphics, but they definitely should have put more time into facial expressions and hiring voice actors that had some experience. The game did a poor job making you feel emotionally invested in the characters. If we had seen some interactions with Cahal's family before the attack it would have helped a little bit. It starts abruptly and ends abruptly. If they remade the game with some better plot and character development it would be a lot better. The environments are pretty subpar too.

The fight with tank girl sucked. And if I'm not mistaken, humans can't enter the umbra. Werewolves can because they're part spirit. So they didn't follow the lore. I also thought it was anticlimactic. I was hoping for a harder fight and a gory demise. But either they didn't care or the money ran out to animate gore. Or maybe it was laziness. Still I can see myself playing this game, there some good qualities here and there. But it is kinda disappointing sometimes.

I've been so hyped about this game. I've been playing the tabletop rpg for almost 20 years (along with Vampire: The Masquerade, Mage: The Ascension, Wraith: The Oblivion, and Changeling: The Dreaming. But, I've been in and out the hospital for the past year, so I haven't had a chance to get this yet. Looks alright. Can't wait to play it myself. Thanks for the playthrough. I'm just as stoked to watch this through.

I think this is a good game, I just wished that it had more money in the budget, it has fallout character movements and the verbal acting is a bit monotone, makes it feel underwhelming, so if it had a big budget this really could-ve been a badass game, like I said I just wished more would-ve been put into it

So. what the wolves see, are those embodiment of the Wyrm or are they just insane? LOL.
Also the transformation sequence is just nope. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Twilight had put more effort into their werewolf transformation. Imagine that. That's how bad it is.

If they added real time damage to enemies and dismemberment it would be a lot more authentic. Also lose the dramatic anime attack effects and the cheap ash effect of transformations.
