Bloodborne was the first FromSoft game i have played incl the DLC and it was tough especially that orphan thing on the beach! Then i went to Dark Souls 2 SOTFS and it was super easy xD Only had problems with this huge dragon on a platform if im not mistaken and a knight boss in one of the DLC-s. So play and try to beat Bloodborne first so you can literally cheese through the Souls series.

I think I died more times in DS2 than Elden Ring. Why do people say Elden Ring is the hardest? I think DS2 was the hardest, no bc of the bosses but bc of the enemies in certain areas of the game. Black Gulch, and the Gutter were an absolute nightmare for me. I can't think of an area in Elden Ring where I got stuck as bad as I did in the areas I mentioned.

Everyone cries about Dark Souls 2 being the worst, but its really because they couldn-t have their hand held through the game by an overpowered friend. Yes theres alot of stuff that needs change but theres alot of stuff that I wish the other games had from this one. Either way its still better than any other game simply for being a dark souls game

Instead of saying how bad I think this game is compared to DS 1 & 3, I can simply mention the fact that if all three Dark Souls games came out at the exact same time, this would not be the majority's favorite. It would be at the bottom of the list. There would be no nostalgia to alter the memories of the sham that is DS2.

Best souls game in my opinion. DS1 has less variety and the world is much less interesting while DS3 changed the combat system to a more arcadeish approach and lost its essence. DS2, despite its flaws, it's a fantastic experience and has amazing replayability.

I just can't get over past how absolutely abysmal the graphics and polygons of DS2 are. DS1 literally had far better texture art and polygon shaping. DS2 felt like it was a bunch of store-bought assets haphazardly stuck together.

I played this game when it first released, and loved both helping and summoning when the playerbase was HUGE and all of us were learning. Its my fave of the DS series.
