Heavy Rain just hits perfectly on all levels. Beyond: Two Souls was good too but it fails spectacularly when it wants you to suspend logic and in-game beliefs because the game forces you to not be able to use your supernatural powers on just anybody and only on a few enemies per area. It made no sense whatsoever. Heavy Rain has NO supernatural or sci-fi elements and it is so good because of that.

I don't get Norman Jayden's problem. He uses the Ari but has to take Tripto to counteract the after-effect right? Then he's just seen using the Ari to play with a ball and play the piano. Surely Norman wouldn't use Ari for such dumb things if its so dangerous? Maybe that's his problem. The butler says he shouldn't indulge in 'you know what', is he talking about Ari or Tripto which are both related?

IDK why I like this game so much but I did. I even played it on my PS5. I know its mainly QTE's but it was actually fun to play. The story was top notch, music and interactions was amazing. No wonder I enjoyed playing Detroit: Become Human so much because it was made by Quantric Dream. I will play any game by them from here on in. Amazing!

K so i just started watching this and i know theres like. Worse things in this game. But why is the mom using her precious china plates for a little boys birthday party? -Be careful Ethan! - Girl if you think those boys are gonna be careful enough with your fragile china youre in for a world of hurt

I just noticed that Ethan has blackouts, Maddison has insomnia and Norman is an addict, which makes them all unreliable narrators. Shelby is the only one who appears to have no mental issues and comes across as the most trustworthy, stable character.

I really wish they-d recorded some more variety of Ethan calling for his kids and them calling back. It really kills the intensity hearing the exact same line repeated the exact same way.

Agent Nahmen Jayden F-Beee-Ieee. Legendary character. Heavy Rain is such a great interactive movie game. My personal favorite along with Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy.

The scene where the kid dies makes no sense. His father reaches him and covers him, yet the kid is killed? At the very least BOTH should've die for it to make any sense.
