Also I love how John always mentions how Dutch and the gang used to take from the rich to give to the poor, meanwhile there was Strauss taking advantage of desperate people and beating them up for money- Maybe john is saying they were morally virtuous to cope

I absolutely love the story of this game, but looking back at it now, I really wish that they'd remake it. There's a lot of weird, seemingly pointless dialogue (not in a -this doesn't need to be here- way, just that it could've been worded a lot better) and some scenes look a bit off, same with the missions.
I am obsessed with both games tbh

gaming is in a weird place to say the least. most devs are ruining a lot of fun for us i feel. fans are spilt between graphics and actual fun gameplay. this franchise gave me a huge breath of fresh air. not only got me back to my spaghetti western days but this game actually made me want to play a game again -

I played rdr when i was like 8 and got stuck within like the first hour and quit playing, now i dont have the ps3 anymore so i can't play until the port comes out later this month (for 50 dollars, on the switch. ugh)
still I can't wait to try playing again after all these years

this game would be very suitable for an old western like 1870s or 1880s something like this but this even reminds more wild west than rdr2 adjust the story a little with things that were already at that time and so on and it's perfect. great video anyway

I'm not sure how Ross thought that betraying Marston the way he did would work out well for him. Sure, could he have easily predicted Jack avenging him? No. But leaving Jack and Abigail alive is a pretty big fubar of a loose end to leave.

I was 13 when I first played this game and 21 when I played the second game. I don-t think I-ve ever played another game with such a great story it will forever hold a special place in my heart for as long as I live

I-m pretty sure gta5 was such a massive let doubt entirely for the sake of making rdr2 such a fantastic game, really hope since they got it out of the way, gta6 will be as groundbreaking as rdr2 was

I wish I could play this game again for the first time. There was nothing like it back then. It's not only 'cause of the nostalgia, but I really do think the original is WAY better than RDR2.
