I tuned in to see if I would want to purchase this game.
Turns out 5 minutes in I decided it is not for me, as there are too many stealth elements ignored. Very nice graphics and the execution looks very smooth, but there is too much distancing from unnecessary showy animations.
Shooting a sniper rifle across water at night is not a stealth move. Sound travels over water and the second guard would have heard the shot, let alone his comrade falling and the search light going out. Too much risk that the second one would raise an alarm.
Next, problem is unnecessarily marching through deep water. Squishy boots are loud.
Sliding down a dirt hill making noise and dust almost did it for me - and immediately adding the voice over, -I have to remain quiet- brought me back, thinking perhaps it is a comedy/adventure.
However when he flipped the knife in mid air as part of his weapon strike to knock out a guard, I was out.
Honorary mention goes to climbing a vine trestle with a big floppy knife handle sticking out of your boot.
The super arbitrary defleshing animations detract from the action IMO. but to be fair, I don't own the game. Maybe the game has an option to turn those off.

I have played all but 5. My preference may not agree other people but this is my favorite game. Go at your own pace and graphics are great. I can put myself in the game and my imagination goes right along with what is happening. To me it is an escape from the real world and this game puts me in -another place- which is better than the world I am forced to live in. Ty.

I wish someone could send me a ps4 copy of these games. It's too expensive for me to buy, with all the other things the family needs. But I'm glad I can watch it peacefully without commentary, I just can't stand the voice distraction if it's not from the game. ---

I just bought this game on PS Store for cheap better than the Walmart Price needless to say I can't wait to play it it's downloading right now and I am part French myself a little bit of German too but all American raised and born.

They put so many women in the game that it makes it a total made up story for sure now. I mean, a black girl with an irish accent with a rifle heavier than her? Come on. Don't make it that obvious.

I own all the Sniper Elite games, and I love this one, but they seem to be moving away from a lot of actual sniping. It's playing more like Splinter Cell from many years ago.
