Wow I am pleased that I saw this film about the innocence of a special robot with healing powers that just lives on his own in the woods taking care of the animals. When all the humans have moved into there cities and gone insane it is nice to know that perhaps there is a special robot out there some where that appreciated the Earth enough for it to take good care of it. At 72 years old I am very afraid for the future of the Earth but I know that when the humans are all gone the Earth will just keep evolving and all sign's of our destruction will have disappeared.

Tight, efficient worldbuilding and a deeply human story, without a single word of dialogue. Wonderful. I think one motive she had for leaving her rescuer in peace, besides gratitude, was the realization that the robot would likely outlive her. And that to be remembered by and as a friend is no small thing. Lastly, I love the dedication to your grandmother. It made me smile and think of my mother's mother, whom I recall with joy but will always miss. Many thanks!

She flees from the bear and ends up at the edge of a precipice. She turns around to face the bear. And then she walks backward! (I know, punctuation marks aren't pack animals, but this sentence screamed for at least three exclamation marks) Did she think the precipice wouldn't be there if she couldn't see it Was she planning to fall Questions we shouldn't have to ask ourselves. Aside from that, a really nice movie with a cool soundtrack. Good job!

I would call this film both elegant and lovely. I don't want to mention any spoilers but the ending, when she has left behind the tool of her trade, makes me think she had undergone a complete change of heart from her brief encounter. I may be totally wrong, but I love all the conflicting theories this triggered in my head. One thing about these short films on Dust, they almost always leave the viewer wanting to know more. Well done!

Waste of time, this is by far one of the worst short films out there. The poor camera work gave me motion sickness, poor wardrobe choice for the setting, no survivalist in that scenario would handle a weapon like the MC did, not having dialog is perfectly fine. The message was clear enough; you can't bring the dead back. If my thumb went any further down, it would break on the floor. Helen Keller would have noticed the blood sooner.

Really nice little flick, but I REALLY wish someone would rescind the universal law that says all women in movies who are running away from danger must fall down at least once. Tho she wasn't running either time. Moral, kids Don't back up if you're standing on the edge of a cliff.

A great short film! My only critique is the lack of realism with the bear. Running from a bear doesn't work. It would have been more realistic to have the girl try and shoot the bear with her powerful rifle (her only real defense from an aggressive bear) and have the gun jam.

I love the robot style. A well told tale, with, almost, no words spoken.
I will say, though, of all the things happening in the short, I am most skeptical of a woman (or really any human) outrunning a determined bear over a fairly long distance.

I love that the robot has a humanoid skeleton, and an African mask for a face.
Also, the drive of the huntress to want to annihilate the 'threat', but then being proven wrong in her convictions.

She already put a round in in the chamber at 6: 43 why did she do it again at 7: 25 if she didn't shoot. I'm down thumbing this due to inaccuracies. It's literally an 10 minute film and she doesn't shoot once.

I thought this was very interesting, especially for a video soo short! You could feel that there was soo much story to tell! I would LOVE to see this expanded into more stories! Keep up the good work!

A refreshing sci-fi story. The robot was well done, but its apparing looked creepy though. A very nice story. I liked the contrast of of high tech world/city, and the fine forest.

Wow! I loved this! The idea of a robot made from scavenged human parts, not out of malice but out of necessity, was really cool. And I loved the mask!
