Hard to really tell, without getting it in my hands. I'm willing to try it, though. Major complaints, up front, the protagonists. A character that maybe isn't the coolest is one thing (see classic Dick Grayson or Peter Parker, but they are likable. The new Saints, though, styling them after the unlikable, Twitter officionados of present day, that just doesn't instill confidence. I hope the story unfolds in a nice way, at least.
And a big thank you, for not playing as the trailer character. She just looks. let's move on.

But I'm actually sitting down and seeing this game I realize why they didn't do a saints row 1 or 2 remaster. This team is not ready. Maybe in a few more games when they've gotten their chops up, but right now they really need to work on how to make good third person gameplay. They went back to Crackdown 1 tier gameplay. This is why they did a reboot they need more time and more practice before they're even close to being ready to put out something like a saints row 2 remaster.

I am one of the skeptics when they announced the remake. And still am.
But seeing your video, if I imagine that it's not connected to any Saints' Row, it is really fun. The driving is really tight compared to previous Volition games (SR3&4 and AoM, the gunfight with the dodge mechanic is interesting per Volition quality. And the world is wide and awesome as well.
Too bad they have to brand it as Saints Row, it's not the same from the feeling and also the direction.

well at least it doesnt look bad. maybe a bit artificial idk. like theyre trying too hard to match the goofiness and fun in the first 3 games?
and a tad bit gay. unfortunatly not in a cool way like gachi stuff but in that pretentious mannerisms way lol thanks for the vid as usual keep up the good work

Well the developers themselves said they will not back down from their decision. People with common sense knew this game was gonna be trash with WOKE bs. Well gaming just became a branch of main stream media, games became a tool for propaganda, they are not made for fun anymore.

I bought the game not cuz i was super interested in it like it doesnt feel like saints row but i was bored. No new games for couple of months plus been cravin for a shooter action definitely playin it tn

Looks empty, not lived in its just an empty sandbox for you to mess around in. Saints Row 3 at least had that, it felt lived in alive with all the people walking about doing their thing.

Super interesting watching Gotham knights and saints row back to back. The saints writing has always been super strong, even as the premises got whackier - this is an excellent story
