Man, V Rising starts you with 3 abilities, and the game's base building aspects mean it isn't JUST dungeon crawls.
Ok, I guess there's a dash, but somehow I suspect it's just a dash, unlike the one they start you with in V Rising, which you can change for different effects.
If your game is pretty much just dungeon crawls, you should leave a better impression of future gameplay out the gate.
Then again, I didn't really have strong hopes that Blizzard would be returning to form.
I suspected they were going to hand out more of the same.
Ugh. weapon expertise. One of the worst design decisions I keep seeing repeated all over the place. Locks the player out of options, and worse often offers some small % bonus rather than granting new options.
Visually it looks good.
Cutscenes are amazing.
They should make a movie.
Oh wait. they did, I didn't watch it.

the graphics are not bad, but there is not that feeling of juiciness that was in the first part! Lots of small details missing! And all you need to do is quickly press the button. -
Skeletons do not have sounds of hitting bones, they do not crumble. There is no sound of flesh hitting and blood choking like some of the monsters in the first part, there were some that became invisible! There sound was amazing! Just a real chopping off of the head. There are no such moments. -
and therefore the spirit of the game is lost! -
For the sake of little kids! just press the button.

Game really needs an -Auto-Run- key bind. It's Super Right-Click intense during play with most attack casts, interacts + moving. There is an option to bind -Force run- to a key like shift key or something but you still have to press and hold the key down permanently or you stop moving. If you find your hands/fingers cramping after just 2hrs of Game Play this is the -KEY- reason. Even with a mount later, you can still only click as far as the screen, the -Drop Pin- did not appear to work for Auto-Run and acted just as a Map path marker unless I missed something?

90% comments about cinimatic intro video. 10% about the gameplay.
what i see is the end of blizzard, looks boring and not as polished as i would like it to be. guess the peak of diablo was Diablo 2 Lod and actually the end of the franchise we knew and loved.
Diablo 3 and Diablo 4 are different games altogether.
as an old diablo fan (played all diablo games so far) i must admit that i will not be getting this one until few months after the game release, to see what people saying about it. (if it's as bad as i think it is or not)

Im not understanding something. To me, from what Ive seen so far, this game looks, feels and plays exactly like Diablo 3. A majority of people hated Diablo 3. I myself did not, as i enjoyed it thoroughly. But I would say the overall consensus was Diablo 3 sucked and Diablo 2 is a masterpiece. But as I scroll through these comments a majority of them say -This game looks amazing! - Someone do the math for me cuz things just arent adding up if thats the case.

Drinking Lilith blood theory.
After the villagers trick your character to drink Lilith blood at the Abandon house, every monsters you killed were an illusion. When in fact those monsters are regular villagers hiding in monastery.
Here is other thing. The skill tree looks like a blood ritual.

One of the best intros to a game I-ve ever seen. The graphics look great and they-ve done a great job of creating the atmosphere in this game. From the environments to the music I can imagine you get so immersed playing this. Think I may have to play it as I-ve never played a Diablo game before

I am KINDA liking it. D2 has been my favorite of all time. dark, gloomy and it takes itself seriously unlike D3 which is too cartoonish, comical and no sense of dread whatsoever. Again too early too tell but looking pretty good. need something to replace my D2 fix.

As someone who grew up on Diablo 1 and 2, never played 3 because I saw the gameplay. This is VERY reminiscient of 1 and 2 - which bolds really good for the Diablo series. Very intrigued, but scared nonetheless because I know how hooked you can be to this game.

This is Diablo III mixed wih Diablo Immortal. No innovation, dull and boring itemization. The same UGI. We can say there is no doubt Diablo saga is done and it ended at Diablo II. ARPG is a dead genre.

I dont like that each class has the same dialogue really, makes them look bland, in D2 each class had their own observations and personality although there was no dialogue. per se.
