TERMINATOR RESISTANCE Ending & Final Boss Fight (2019) HD
video description
Skynet intended to achieve an insurmountable strategic advantage by moving troops and vehicles within seconds, but the impossibility of transferring inorganic matter without the aid of living tissue (Skynet discovered the polymimetic alloy at the end of the war and the difficulties of realization of the new material made it impossible to produce it in a short time, even for the ruthless artificial intelligence) made the project fail and the testing plant was dismantled in order to reconvert the structure in which it was located in one of the many factories dedicated to the production of weapons and battle units. -
Only after the Resistance discovered the location of its hardware, Skynet dusted off the projects related to the transporter facility from its databases and perfected them in order to create a new facility where it could send in the past, infiltration units programmed to eliminate specific key targets. -
It was a move dictated more by despair than by logic, because no one, not even an artificial intelligence of the caliber of Skynet, can predict what the consequences will be in sending someone or something in a time and place where it should never have been and Skynet, paranoid as it was, didn't like this.

This is a great video game ending and Terminator ending. When the base is attacked and you potentially lose EVERYONE you care about, you're alone and at your lowest. Then, you find him. The man, the myth, the legend himself: Connor. Together, you piece together the secret to defeating Skynet, and while he commands the overall assault against Skynet's Central Core and the TDE center, YOU act as the Spearhead, charging against the machines that you once hid from and could barely manage to survive against throughout most of the game. All the while, Brad Fiedel's amazing score from the first two films builds up as you push further and further into Skynet's territory to stop the TDE and provide Connor enough time to shut down Skynet Central. And just when you're on your last leg and the brink of death, you win! The war ends, the machines all shut down, and humanity is saved. But there's more. The terminators have been sent back in time to hunt their targets, including you, and now you must choose to sacrifice your future to save the past. Maybe even fix it.

This final battle sequence gave me so much chills & moved me so much I was on the brink of crying.
With the classic music bumping & advancing with Connor's troops & the pressure of Skynet's about to turn on the TDE, the quote -no fate- echoed throughout my mind. Then you heard they started sending the first terminator, then the second. your heart stopped. But not for long. Because you understand that we fight for our own fate & you will not give up on humanity's future. You will not give up, not after so many have died for the cause.
Yeah the graphic & game design might be at 2012's standard, but this game's story telling & fan service is simply perfect.

this game is just so perfect, the story, the many links to the two first terminators movies, the music. dang this game has it all. I mean, if you are into, at least, the terminator 2 movie, then you WILL love this game. Oh and yeah, there was no more other movies after Terminator 2 if you'd ask me.
The only bad thing about this game is when you're done with the main story, you'd want it to last forever but every good things has to come to an end eventually.

This game was better than all the movies that came out after T2. And this story should have been the only sequel we got. It shows how skynet sent the two terminators back to kill Sarah and John, and it shows how the resistance defeated Skynet in the future as well as in the past with Sarah and john. It would have been a perfect trilogy. Instead we got the garbage that came out after T2. FML.

6: 46 seeing that tank again after many years brought so much nostalgia from the first one and chills go up and down my spine seeing that tank fight with the resistance. This is what terminator was meant to be, yet it had to be ruined by dark fate. The other films I enjoyed even if Terminator salvation didn-t turn out how it was supposed to be, I liked it. Viva La Resistance!

The only cannon terminators are the following timelines.
T1, T2, T3, Terminator Salvation.
or
T1, T2, and Terminator Resistance.
I like the believe they're two separate timelines where certain things didn't line up exactly.
The other two new -Terminator films- are bad. I mean they're okay for what they're, but they don't do the franchise justice.

Hollywood: We explore what you ask, but the story doesn't exist
Fans: Story? There's the story, we asked you to work with that (pointing to the future war timeline)
Hollywood: Honestly it can't be done
Fans: TEYON AND REEF WERE ABLE TO DO A DECENT TERMINATOR GAME AND DECENT TERMINATOR STORY WITH A LOW BUDGET, AND WITHOUT ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER!

I highly doubt destroying skynet's power grid would shut every single machine off they all each had their own individual power unit the way I see it that should have just taken Skynet offline in the machines would go to their basic program to regroup and continue the fight I just don't see how shutting off the grid would shut them all down

Didn't T2 happen in '91? Not knocking the game, I actually think it looks really good, all things considered, but is that a bit of a glitch sending the Terminator to '95? Or was it changed for this game?
Edit: Just realized today that T2 takes place 11 years after the 1st one. So technically it takes place in 95. Never knew that.

Basically it-s the John Connor paradox and this is also what these idiots at Hollywood don-t understand.
Even let-s say T1 and T2 happened it-s an ongoing cycle without a beginning or end which was explained in T3.
Remember John basically is the son of Kyle Reese and Kyle has to be send back to guarantee John to be born.

Damn good of skynet to put up all those positions of cover for you during the final assault. I never believed in the victory over skynet in the future. Skynet wasn't very smart if it but all its eggs in one basket and allowed itself to be defeated that easily. No back up sight to transfer to in case the first sight fell?

Excellent storytelling and creating a perfect prequel explanation to the whole terminator franchise! Very well done and I'm glad that what they did with Sergeants Kyle Reese and Jacob Rivers was by far one of the best links to the movies we should have deserved. Kudos!

When Terminator 3 hit the theater, this was the ending i had in my head. Talked to friends about how Terminator series should END with Kyle Reese walking into the time machine with John Connors blessing. This is as close as we get i guess.

I've been writing a spec script of how I imagined t3 to end and this only cements my ideas as I I see similarities which are inspired by james Cameron's original idea. I hope one day someone will end it in a similar way on film.

John Conner was saying through the radio that Skynet has sent a third terminator back in time. the first one was T-800 to terminate Sarah Conner. the second one was T-1000 to terminate young John Conner. so what was the third one?

Since I didn-t have any mistakes I needed to correct, I didn-t say that I-d go back and protect myself and hearing John Connor just go -ugh- made me feel legit guilty for some reason like I-ve upset big daddy John lmfao

Seeing Skynet fall like that was the most satisfying thing I ever seen. The main antagonist of the terminator franchise finally being defeated. It's such a satisfying conclusion, and I'm glad we were apart of it.

I really enjoyed this game and the annilation dlc. You can tell this was made be true fans of the terminator series. Too bad James Cameron isn't one of those fans with that garbage he gave us called Dark Fate.

This game was a valiant first attempt from the developer. It's a fan favourite despite the IGN negative review. I'm very much looking forward to Robocop Rouge City which I think will be another triumph.

Only wish Reese would have been in the main campaign, especially this mission since he and John entered Skynet together in the original novel. Absolutely amazing game, had an absolute blast with it.

The part at 1: 15, on one of those vids showing the opening battle at the start of T2, one of the posters suddenly posted: -OMG, RIVERS is the Cameraman! -
And by golly, he indeed was.
