This game is amazing and a whole lot scarier than the first. Scares and terror on a whole new level provided at every step of Alan or Saga's journey though i find Saga's journey a lot scarier than Alan's. I purchased the game a couple of days ago and dont regret it for a second. Best money i ver spent lately on a video game. Kudos to Remedy for the effort and time they put into making this long awaited sequel. Truly a labor of love and not many video games these days can be labeled as such except for a handful.

I was big fan of Alan wake 1 and Alan wake American Nightmare. Played all max Payne series.
I did not like Quantum Break that much and hated Control completely.
I can see lots of Control stuff here like Weapon mods, complex and multiple maps, too much documents and puzzles that are annoying like finding a code for lock. This makes game unenjoyable.
Thanks MKIceAndFire for video but I am staying away from this game.

Why did they not pay attention to the fundamentals of weapon reoloading. If Saga reloads her pistol, it should not be locked back if she performs a tactical reload. And she would have an additional bullet at her disposal (12+1. Same with the shotgun. She throws away both shells, even if she just shoots one and reloads. As a gun guy this bothers me, especially if its a survival horror game.

I play Alan Wake 2 myself. I loved the first level with Saga in the woods, but the New York City level with Wake?
I cannot make any sense out of it, I have no idea how to proceed, what the hell I'm doing or for what purpose. This city level is a complete nightmare, literally

What I'm really liking is how much terminology and symbology you understand if you've played Control before(threshold, the triangles, etc. Really makes the world feel connected and a whole thing instead of a disjointed loosely connected sum of games.

The fact that Arti and dr. Darling is in this games is could, the alan wake game feels like control but an alan wake as a dlc or just another title but same improved engine

I just love how the FBC was incorpored in the story. Just looming, letting traces of experiments and taking a backsit when the AWE is taking hold of Cauldron Lake.

it just looks slightly better than robocop new game. robocop rouge city with reshade looks a lot nicer than just woods and jungle. wayyy nicer.

Gotta love the 60fps on PC, such smoothness, it's awesome. Glad I can watch a PC gameplay rather than a capped 30fps console gameplay lol
