Loved this clip but. am I the only one that thinks Jimmy looks like the Jolly Green Giant (minus the green) next to Eddie in that chair, especially in the two shot from the camera furthest left facing Jimmy. 6: 50 & 15: 28, etc. It's funny as hell if that's what you're going for. but I'm thinking that's not intentional. Eddie's eyes are about even with Jimmy's microphone. Looking forward to Eddie's documentary.

Why Robert Blake was banned from performing on SNL.
He was very dissatisfied with the scripts that he received throughout the week, to the extent that he crumpled up a script presented to him by cast member and writer Gary Kroeger and threw it back in his face. He was banned from ever performing on the show again.

Gosh what a lovely person. Well-spoken, funny, and LOYAL to his friends. You see how several times when Jimmy was making jokes (which I did find harmless, he was just being Jimmy, Eddie stuck up for Michael and later Rick Ross? Seems like a great friend.

The audience didn't laugh when he said Redd Foxx died of a heart attack on the set of his sitcom and the cast and crew thought he was joking. I don't think enough people in that audience even knew who Redd Foxx was enough to get how funny it was

Red Fox, cried wolf so many times on Sanford and Son that when he had a real heart attack they thought he was joking. He could have been saved; if they weren't busy laughing. It comforts me to know that Red Fox, went out with a laugh.

48 Hrs. & Beverly Hills Cop was my first intro to Eddie as a kid & I was a fan. Then it was Delirious, & I was hooked - he influenced my sense of humor, like so many others. That s when real comedy films were made. I love this man!
