Skip ahead to the timelapse build if you'd like: - Grab your own LEGO Apple II by Chris McVeigh Vie: First systems I remember were Acorn Archemedes machines, vaguely remember the teacher's offices having late 80's and early 90's apple products. Secondary school marked a switch to Windows PC's, but they also still had a mid 1980's BBC micro lab exclusively for a flight simulator program.
I still miss the Archimedes machines though. The interface just clicked nicely in my brain.

I sure would love to visit an LGR Museum of oddware and boxed PC games one day. Heck, I-d travel overseas to visit it as a number one priority! -_--
The very pleasing ASMR sound of Lego pieces and your smooth voice doing chitchatting were a great companion while I was doing image editing work. Please consider doing more videos like this!

There were definitely games out for the Apple II even back when it was released in the late 1970s. Apple was my first computer though it was much earlier than your first experience and I was in grade school. I've even downloaded my favorite old Apple II games and an Apple II emulator to replay them once in a while.

Too bad the person behind these kits isn't making them anymore. On the upside they officially work for LEGO now, so it seems they were impressed with their creations to hire them on. Still a shame this isn't something one can buy from that person anymore as I was looking forward to getting the IBM one.

I believe the manual in the Apple II actually encourages people to see how the computer works, to a point anyway. I think it even gave you stuff like an intro on how to write BASIC, a circuit diagram with all the components labeled, and even how to replace basic parts!

I feel you lgr my computer which sits right next to me has 3 big fans in the top of the case for a radiator and when they are all running on maximum it still only sounds like a lil bit of wind. Now whenever I hear a loud fan I'm like -I thought we evolved past this-

I know this is old, but I've been having trouble with my mental health lately and watching these vids (and Blerb vids) has really been helping me out. Someone once referred to Clint as the -Bob Ross of computers- and it's an apt comparison.

Lol, the first time I sit to watch this video from three years ago and he mentions NASA's announcement that they're going to Mars. Last night was when the Perseverance rover touched down on the surface of Mars. Funny coincidence!

I always associate beige-coloured things (especially more dated things) with cigarettes. If I buy something used and it's beige, I just assume the original owner was a smoker lol. Beige just looks dirty

At 18: 43 you said that there are only one of those pieces. But at 48: 51 you showed all the spare pieces at the right and the PIECES WERE RIGHT THERE. THAT BOTHERED ME THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE VIDEO.
