The Most Rewatchable Sci-Fi Movies Of The Past Decade buckjohnsonus: I've watched Edge of Tomorrow I think more than any other sci fi film. The first time I watched a film twice in the theaters since T2. It's so dark. and Emily Blunt in a mech suit! I definitely would have added Ex Machina, probably the new Blade Runner instead of Mad Max and Attack the Block. Mad Max as you pointed out is a giant chase film and I get bored with that.

the Martian? good. total recall? amazing. that British film? never heard of it. Mad Max? re watchable to get the drum shivers only. Inception? amazing, never watched it. Looper? good movie. but 1 or two on this list are barely re watchable where you can't fully grasp the story but watching it only once.

I have to disagree with your first choice. Although Moon was good, I could not watch it again. I do agree with your choice of Edge of Tomorrow. Ive watched that one a lot. I think you should have added The Red Planet, and Equilibrium is a spectacular movie Ive watched a lot.

Only reason I like Edge of Tomorrow is because Tom Cruise gets killed over and over and over and over.
Any movie that nutbag is in is a movie where they miscast the main actor.
So at least getting to see him die repeatedly is a redeeming factor.

Not a fan of Cruise, but I have to admit I love Oblivion and Edge of Tomorrow, they are like more intense and slightly longer than a good short story. Sunshine just draws you in and won't let go.

Ex-Machina, my bae INTERSTELLAR, Star Wars Episode 7 and Rogue One, Source Code, Primer, Oblivion, Enders Game tbh, DISTRICT 9, and ESPECIALLY the best movie of the year, Blade Runner 2049!
reply

Interstellar, Arrival, Blade Runner 2049, the Prestige are all better than most films on this list. Edge of Tomorrow was fun, sure, but not even remotely up there with these others.

Edge of tomorrow was off the charts!
Edge of tomorrow was off the charts!
Edge of tomorrow was off the charts!
Im going to write Edge of tomorrow was off the charts!

Looper? I particularly enjoyed the half hour where they were hanging out at the farm being completely passive. First rule of screenwriting: make your characters passive right?
