I predicted this before the Force Awakens. Why? Because I knew Disney was going to use some semblance of the Dark Horse comics involving the aftermath of episode 6. And literally all of this about Palpatines return was done 30 years ago. I thought Kylo was being prepped to be Palpatines new body, as was Anakin Solo in the comics. Rey is the wildcard here and is a player Disney has yet to unravel, which is why Im interested to see what theyll do with this classic storyline.

come on, any star wars fan would take less then 5 mins to explain any good explanation for how palps came back. For example, he never died the Palps in ROTJ was a a clone or the other way around, the new palps is a clone of a template that palps left behind in case. He mightve also simply not died, Maul didnt care about being chopped up and thrown into a seemingly endless pit neither.

Let's all be clear here. It has been mentioned by George Lucas in an interview that Snoke is actually Emperor Palpatine's own daughter, so there is no point in making up new theories because the truth has already been confirmed by George Lucas himself!

Well if Maul could survive getting cut in half and Mace survived getting thrown from the window, is it that hard to believe that a Sith grandmaster would be able to survive a long drop, or a lightsaber cut?
