Too young, too tragic. Ray was terrific - I consider his Punisher portrayal as my fave. He was great in the underappreciated Outpost as well, where I first saw him in a leading role. After seeing him as the Punisher, I was praying Hollywood would see him as the ideal Lucas Davenport if any of John Sandford's excellent Prey novels ever got made on film. Now we'll never know.
Deepest condolences to his family. RIP Ray - you will indeed be missed.

Devastating is right on the mark, absolutely wrought with sympathy for his family and friends. A brilliantly impressive character actor, such screen presence. Will miss watching him in new shows and movies but he's left a seriously impressive back catalogue.

a lot of people have died in the last few years. The ones that got me are Kenny Rogers, Micheal K Williams and Ray. A shock today. Kill the Irishman, Punisher WZ and keeping the Dexter series alive were worthy of all Praise. RIP Mr Stevenson.

So terribly sad. Much like Lance Reddick, who passed earlier this year, he was one of those actors who appeared in a ton of projects, and elevated anything he was in. It always brought a smile to my face when I saw him on screen.

58 by today's standard is still considered young as we are living longer. Was looking forward to his Star Wars TV appearance. Pretty much surprised by his death considering the amount of work he produced in his luster career. RIP

Now that is a terrible loss. And at only 58? Might seem old to teenagers and twenty-somethings, but its really quite young. As a 40 year old myself, it's kinda scary.
Rest well, good sir. You will be missed.

Sadly shocking news, fell in love with him in Rome. No one has mentioned Edward Teach/Blackbeard in Black Sails. He played a great good guy and a scary bad guy. Your Star will shine forever.
