A walking nightmare and a machete wielding killer clashed 20 years ago in Freddy vs Jason, and fans have been begging for a sequel ever since. Here's why it hasn't happened yet. The original ending had 3 potential ends:
1. The one we got.
2. Freddy and jason rush eachother then chains with meat hooks fly from nowhere and restrain them both, pinhead (the original one) steps out from the shadows and the darkness and gently asks with an authoritative tone: now gentlemen, what seems to be the trouble?
3. (Better in my opinion) they rush eachother then a shotgun blast rings out. Jason is blown back by it having been hit square in the chest. Freddy gets a chainsaw slammed straight through his sturnum then kicked off to the ground. Standing covered in Freddie s blood and slamming 2 more shells into his double barrel stands Ash Williams. And he says: alright screwheads, lets dance! Slams the breach on his rifle, revs the chainsaw and rushes jason with the chainsaw while taking aim at freddie and smash cut to black and roll credits.

They need to try another reboot/prequel for Nightmare on Elm Street: a movie that shows Freddy's back story while he was still alive. He was supposedly a vicious child, but how did he get the dream powers? That's how we tie it into Evil Dead and the Necronomicon. (In my version) Freddy was using dark magic rituals to enter into the dreams of his victims and groom them into being into being willing to do what he wanted to them. Here we would see a younger, unburned looking Freddy terrorizing the local community for several years before ultimately meeting his canonical demise at the hands of the Parents.
A followup sequel would show undead dream master Freddy terrorizing a new group of victims. Ash and the Evil Dead series would tie directly to Freddy when we see Ash researching the case of Fred Kruger to see if he was using the Necronomicon while he was still alive. While researching, Ash would discover the new victims and their similarities to the old Freddy case, thinking something evil is afoot. The movie would end with undead dream master Freddy and Ash having some kind of show down, that would result in Freddy going away (until the next sequel) and Ash learning that the Necronomicon has since moved locations and is no longer in Freddy's Grave (he was buried with it. In a post credits scene we'd see Ash pulling up in his car to an abandoned Crystal Lake, tying in the thread of Freddys Mother using the evil book to revive her son.
A Jason reboot would also be necessary to establish the presence and use of the Necronomicon in the franchise.

I have always been Interested in Seeing The Remake Version s of Freddy Krueger Played by Jackie Earl Hayley and Jason Voorhees Played by Derek Mears in Film Together. Even Though The 2010 Nightmare on Elm Street wasn t good as The Original Film but Jackie Earl Hayley Truly did an Incredible Performance as Freddy Krueger and he Deserves a Second Chance at Playing him. The 2009 Friday The 13th Remake was Truly Amazing and Derek Mears did a Phenomenal Performance and if they do these movie and Derek Mears Doesn t Get a chance to play Jason I would be Pissed.

Both Robert Englund and the guy who played Jason are getting older, both franchises still have an ongoing franchise rights issues (namely Sean S. Cunningham with the Friday the 13th franchise and Paramount Pictures, and Warner Bros. /New Line already have new ownership under David Zaslav. It s been nearly 15 years since the Friday The 13th reboot, which was a better reboot than the terrible 2010 Nightmare on Elm Street.

I personally don't know that Ash would have been a good fit to add to Jason and Freddy. I had always thought to really ramp it up, there should be a Freddy vs Jason vs Chucky vs Leprechaun. At least I thought it would be an interesting take, pairing Chucky and the leprechaun as their own rivalry and last little man standing faces Freddy and Jason.

The remake of Friday The 13th was far superior to the remake of A Nightmare on elm street as you can't do Freddy Krueger without Robert Englund, It's a shame they didn't make a sequel to Freddy vs Jason with an Evil Dead twist. But due to the actor's advanced age, it's never going to happen now.

Just like the joker, to find another Freddy who can do. It right, he needs to have the right voice, and laugh and energy to play the character, and history has proven that to be a damn near impossible thing to get right in an actor.

These Freddy and Jason reboots turned out to be one-shots. The Jason movie was actually a good reboot and I'm not sure why they didn't make pt 2. But that Freddy reboot was horrible. It had some good parts but most of it was pretty bad.

I would love to see an animated version of Freddy vs Jason vs Ash! All you need is Robert and Bruce s voices, Jason doesn t speak, so there s no issue there. With a good story and kick ass animation, I think fans would go crazy for it!

Kevin Bacon is amazing. but is he Freddy? Hell no. I'm sorry. JEH was a perfect Freddy. he just got a bum movie. His performance was great! Sad to see Robert England hang it up, but it had happen some time.
reply

I never really cared for the Jason Voorhees series.
Freddy Kruger has always fit my bill since the first Nightmare on Elm Street and still does!
Why not try a Pinhead VS. Jason or VS. Freddy movie?

reply

another franchise I wish that they could make is Army Of Darkness 1979, only problem with that though is that The Warriors are too old to be fighting deadites, let alone travelling back to Coney Island
reply

would love to see these three go at it. im also willing to accept ash burying these two for good. if it means for bruce to be on board with this. one last crazy movie is all i ask for
reply

Because they sabotaged the movie by hiring a director who openly admitted he never saw either series and didn't give a shit about any of it, and, shockingly, that didn't work.
reply

Chucky vs Michael Myers, with Andy from Child's Play and Jamie from Halloween 4&5 as the protagonists. I mean, it wouldn't make any sense, but people will still pay to see it.
reply

I'd kinda rather have a Michael vs. Jason or a Michael vs. Leatherface at this point personally. Fck it, Michael V. Jason V. Leatherface: Dawn of Justice.
reply

I never want to see Freddy back on the screen again since Robert Englund can't come back. That Nightmare remake was an abomination.
reply

Because both of those franchises were some of the most useless trash to ever be put on screen do you think that could be the case
reply

Ash vs Jason vs Freddy? No thanks. I love them all, but that's too many cooks in the kitchen. I would love a well written pt 2.
