I was in a Masters program for clinical psychology, and one day one of our professors gave us a scenario and asked us Should you break confidentiality in this instance? This was the scenario-
Youre a school guidance counselor. A 16 year old male student is assigned to see you because of repeated instances of physical fights with other students and truancy. He is resistant and untrusting of the therapeutic process and openly claims to dislike you. However, during the second session, he confides in you that his parents argue and scream at each other constantly and that If they dump it on me one more time Im going to run away and kill myself because I cant fcking take it anymore.
I was the only person in class that said Yes, breaking confidentiality was appropriate. Even the teacher disagreed with me. The professor said You may have forever damaged his opinion of therapy so he will never seek help again. And the other nitpick He was not in Imminent danger. You cannot legally break confidentiality if they are not in immediate danger.
I said Hes in one of the highest risk demographics for suicide. He does not trust his parents or friends to help him in times of distress. He isolates, or lashes out with violence. Based on the details available, I would at bare minimum notify the parents. I would much rather him hate me, and be safe, than potentially unsafe, or worse.
That was the day I mentally checked out of that program, because I was so disgusted by the coldness and legal calculations the professor was taking, instead of being concerned for someones life.

the series has made a couple mistakes that you only notice when you read the book.
such as how Hannah killed herself. In the book, she said, on one of the tapes, that she'd use the least painful way to die - pills. Hannah took a hand full of pills that killed her.
Also, in the book, she didn't fight against Bryce's touch in the hottub. She said, she just sat there and let it happen.
Another mistake is that Wally, the shop owner, never talked. Hannah said, on tape 1, Side A that he never ever said a word.
A mistake in this video is also that Clay's tape is tape 5, Side A. Not tape 6.

The suicide scene is definitely the number one most painful thing. I don't know why they edited it 2 years later probably because people complained it was too hard to watch but it's still hard to watch and most people had already seen the original. If you watched it recently you'll notice they cut some parts out. Like you don't see her slit her wrists and you don't see the blood leaking onto the floor. And they zoom in the camera so you can't even see the blood in the tub but you can still see her dead body.

This may be 3 years ago
But I can understand his pain on the one where he could've stopped hanah when she went to his door then saw her just before she was taken away let's just say something happened but I saw it happen directly in front of my eyes and it scarred me and stuff still affects me to this day this was when i was barely 13 and I'm 21 now so yea long time still affecting me guilt isn't easily rid of tho taken for granted I didn't get therapy til recently- but still

I mean I dont even know and say what is going but This show is sooo ridiculously sad and devastated to me, at this time I get it how of the scene that hannah was raped by bryce in that hot pool with of the whole party and in that state but this really makes me so frustrated and stressed out is why she didnt tell the truth to her parents first before everyone else by listening of tapes, she shouldnt went to party anyways.

6: 55 damn I didn't even realize that much happened in that one night, I'm not saying how I am realizing that it was clay's fault (its not)
I also did know that later that night is when sharri broke the stop sign but it's just crazy realizing that one simple party caused that much trauma

Boys like Clay cannot confess her love for Girls like Hannah because they are afraid of losing her. But they are true lover who love only one Girl in their life and be loyal with them
So Girls requesting you all that don't misjudge Boys like Clay Because I am one of them.

Bro I felt for clay, Jessica and Hannah and Tyler. Clay really broke down in season 2 and I felt that, Jessica taking back her power was beautiful to me even after what happened to her not most women can do that, Hannah was let down by everybody and Tyler man

As the husband of someone with bipolar who was bullied all her life And having been bullied myself, please watch what you say and do to everyone around you. You never know when someone has gone through too much until it's too late

Just based on Clays hallway meltdown that school needs to stop putting Clay in charge of new student tours because every time they do he has a meltdown, also Clay clearly needed therapy because that boy had issues.

When Hannah mom finds her daughter body in the bathtub, this scene just broke my heart and no matter what i can't get it out of my head. It is one of the most painful scene to watch in the history of any series.

I was very amazed when I first saw 13 reasons why. I read the book and seeing the actual series had me in a lot of pain. Extremely heartbreaking but at the same time all true facts of our world on this day.

I want to rewatch the show because I havent seen it since the show premiered in 2017 but I could barely handle the emotions it made me feel back then I could only imagine what it would do to me now

I read the book, the show certainly solves more then the book, the whole story is heartbreaking and relates to life to so many people, I truely appreciated the show and book

I just wish in some parallel world they made a series 13 reasons why hannah should live
so that it will be satisfying seeing clay doing things that can save hannah. :(

An insipid tedious woke series about a Narcissist who commits suicide and like any narcissist blames the people around them after falling victim to their own foolishness.
