I can't believe he picked Madison over Hannah Ann. First of all, yes, it's her journey as well as Peter's, but she should have brought this up night one. Or at LEAST way before fantasy suite week. Yes, it's your journey, too, but Peter is there to find love. Madison KNEW there would be other women, and she should have expected Peter would be physical with them. If I were her, the first night I would have sat down with Peter. Told him I'm religious, told him that I am looking for a man who will be that spiritual leader for our family, and that I was saving myself for marriage. If that was something he couldn't do, he'd send me home, and that's that. Good. Because he shouldn't have to change, and she shouldn't have to compromise her morals. Plus, she got mad at him AFTER the fact. And even when she had multiple times to tell him, she didn't. Honestly, it wasn't fair to her or to him. And definitely not to Hannah Ann. Peter should have NEVER asked her. I was never more proud of her than when she was letting him have it and telling him like it is. I get it, you fell for two people. Understandable in that environment. But if you are sooooo into Madison, and you truly care about Hannah Ann, you do NOT propose just so she doesn't walk away. You man up, and you talk to her about your feelings and be honest. I know a lot of people weren't Victoria F fans, but when he picked Madison over her, I couldn't believe it. They finally were starting to communicate, he says he could see her as his wife, she is THERE and cares about him, but you know. pick the one that gave you an ultimatum after the fact and then got upset when you were honest, didn't show up for the rose ceremony until late, and then wouldn't even look at you, and seemed very hesitant to take the rose. She should have stayed gone. I don't understand how he could fall so hard for someone who truly didn't want to fight for him and repeatedly didn't show up when she should have. And then left. And still picks her. The SMARTEST thing he has done is not proposed on the live finale, and say they should take their time with the relationship. I wish them luck, but I do not see it going the way people want. I know everyone is team Madison, but I'm team Barb. She's right. They shouldn't have to change each other, and they both need to be willing to compromise, but that's not happening. Yes, people do change. And if Peter truly does want to change his wild boy ways and take his religion and spirituality more serious to be the man that Madison wants, then so be it. But in the future, I hope Madison can show a bit more how she feels, that she does truly want him, and not get angry with him for doing something he doesn't even know is going to be a game changer. She says he didn't take her feelings into account and yadda yadda, but how is he supposed to do that if she refused to even say anything about any of it until after the fact? It's late and I'm ranting horribly so I apologize xD Good luck to Madison and Peter. Hope they prove me wrong. And good luck to Hannah Ann, she deserves someone truly special. I also truly hope that Barb and Madison can get over the rocky start and this doesn't cause a rift between Peter and his family.
Also, he totally called her the wrong name in the proposal. that was a good recovery, though. If I was Hannah Ann, I would have left multiple times by that point.

Maddie at this point should of said, I am sorry about being late, Most of us know that their is a lot of waiting around before production. I was told to be there at a certain time, I was early and had to wait until I was told action, or go to the door. I felt nervous, and never explained. Let's give blame to where it belongs. Production. I feel that Peter's Mom knew how this happened, she had been on the show several times. She just wanted the lime light and her few minutes of fame. Would peter have made a different choice had he known that she was saving for marriage or about her faith and beliefs in the first few episodes. The format usually makes people open up and be vulnerable and these people share lots of stuff (unlike real life) well ahead in the show. It feels like Madison thought this through well. As unconventional dating as it is, I think it is fair in this situation that this big of a fundamental difference be talked about ahead of time. The way Peter treated Hannah Ann was totally unfair. He used her as a second or 3rd to other ladies and kept her as a safety net. It was very very clear that he wanted Madison from episode 7-8. Why blindside her and break up with her live just like Arie did. I have so much respect for Colton for knowing and chasing what he wanted. Anyways very disappointed with this season and the ladies on the show and the lead of the show.

I think Barb, thats what everyone is calling her, was very unkind and rude to talk the way she did. Regardless of the fact that Madison made them wait for 3 hours (for whatever reason) or if Madison behaved in some way to offend Barb, that does not give Barb the right to be so blatantly hostile to Madison. As a mother and being an older woman, she should be more gracious and behave with more decorum and good taste. If my mother ever talked that way to any of my boyfriends, I would seriously disown her. I hope Peter can see his mother for who she is: mean, self-centered, BOORISH, domineering, overbearing, manipulative, etc. If she wants Peter to be happy, she should leave him alone so he can make his own decisions. That would show that she has some respect for him. Peter is highly intelligent if he is capable of being a pilot, so he must weigh the pros and cons of a relationship without being influenced by his mother. Its not healthy and normal to be too close to a mother that he has to do whatever she says. Note to Peter: If you really want to find the woman whom you intend to marry someday, cut your moms apron strings and move out of the house ASAP before she ruins your life!

Okay, this finale was definitely something else.
First, I have to commend BOTH girls for their composure and their maturity in the face of really rough moments with a camera directly in their faces. Bravo to Hannah Ann for standing up for herself in regards to Peter and what she deserves and what he took from her. Bravo to Madison for keeping her composure with Barb as she was literally insulting her on television.
Also, after Barb said her piece and before Peter's father spoke, she literally says in Spanish to him; Say something bad to help me out. Barb wanted her husband to help her gang up on Madison, and that gave me my view on Barb.
First glance, Barb seems like a warm mother and a kind mother-in-law-to-be, and as soon as you don't agree with her, she will want to dictate the narrative, like when she was trying to direct her husband. This is where Peter learned what women to look for, and Barb will only be happy if he ends up with someone just like her.
I don't know what's next for Peter and Madison, but I hope Barb gets that 2x4 out of her ass and let her son grow with Madison and be a good husband and father.

Pete wanted Maddie but when he went home. his family especially his mom pressured him into hannah, while he was expecting their support. His manipulative and hypocritical mom made him chose hannah even when he was proposing he wasn't happy he was sad. He chose hannah cos he listened n wanted to pleas his manipulative mom. n we saw that, that's what Barb has been doing. She's the worst mom ever.

Honestly, I'm not surprised that Barb is so involved in Peter's life, most Latina moms are like that. In Hispanic culture living at your parents' house is normal until you're ready to get married. So, Peter living at home doesn't bother me as it does with other people. It's not very common in American culture to live with your parents once you're an adult. However, I do have to say that Barb shouldn't have embarrassed Peter like that on tv, it was so cringe-worthy. Anyways, I really like your content! Look forward to watching you guys more!

And then when Chris Harrison asked Peter what is the plan with woman you love (Madison. Peter was just like, we are gonna figure that out. No commitment to even dating. wow. (I am pretty sure Neil Lane was there during the live show ready with a engagement ring for Madison, hahaha. The shows producers just wanted patch things up with a happy ending. and Peter was like nahh.

I actually agree with barb. I get Madison wanting to be unapologetically herself but when you're rude to someone you should apologize and the fact that she didnt shows that who she is isn't a very nice person at her core. Also its painfully obvious that she wasn't in love with peter. She cared deeply for him but she didnt love him the way you need to love someone to sustain a marriage. I dont think they'll last at all. He messed up a LOT this season. he should not of been the bachelor if he wasn't over hannah b.

I do feel that Madison needed to apologize for being late and attempt to smooth things over with Barbs. Normally, a relationship with beef between the spouse and the mother doesn't work. Madison is marrying into the family, whether she sees it that way or not. And any man that was a mama-boy in the beginning then turned to side with his spouse typically turn against the spouse. I have seen this happen firsthand. If Madison doesn't try with the mother, this relationship will not work out.

But this episode made me stan Hannah Ann (dare I say it) more than even Jess.

If she was late or not in love with Peter it makes sense. Maddie provided no explanation or apology. Madison also dodged questions. Really do not think this relationship will work, but good luck.

I felt bad for Hannah Ann and I felt bad for Madison. I did feel like it was little over dramatic the taking away first engagement because people do get engaged & sometimes they dont work out.
