In terms of the character, another film that is very much in the same type of quality is Blue is the warmest colour.

I'm gonna say it now, I tried watching the show for my cousin and stayed until the end because of the beautiful acting and amazing storyline and character development. Not at all for chess, so I hope these shows aren't all about chess
