By Definition, how is Angry Beavers a scandal?
an action or event regarded as morally or legally wrong and causing general public outrage.
the outrage or anger caused by a scandalous action or event.
rumor or malicious gossip about scandalous events or actions.
It was canceled, and the last episode was going to be a 4th wall break episode, and nickelodeon didn't like 4th wall breaks. Not a scandal. do you guys use definitions liberally over there like you do with your pronunciations of the English language? for example the word Frostbit. English dictates you say the whole word and not accentuate any place of the word frost-bit but some English people say frostbit like frostbite or frostbeight. thats not English in any sense, no where in the english language does bit sound like beight or bite, so you must be embedded in scandals too if you think the angry beavers was by your description.

Dan Schneider was ridiculous. He abused so many of his actors and actresses including Jennette McCurdy for God knows how long up until his belated termination. And I have Jennettes book, Im Glad My Mom Died and its fascinating and at the same time emotional. I just cant help but feel sorry for Jennette because of everything she went through from dealing with her toxic mother to being treated unfairly by the Nickelodeon staff when they offered her hush money to stop her from reporting Dans harassment towards her. And I feel her pain that Ariana Grande got to pursue other careers and if I was in Jennettes position, that would feel like favoritism and personal beef with actors and actresses. Needless to say, I wont be watching the original iCarly, Sam and Cat or any other Nickelodeon show created by Dan anytime soon because of all the horrible stuff that happened behind those sets.

I really believe white-washing depends on the story's plot and whether character's are a specific race rather than simply where the story originated from. I agree with anger over the Last Air Bender with its asian landscape/combat/foes, the American live action Death Note being the Shinigami are part of Japanese culture, Dragon Ball Z being martial arts based, Johnny Depp clearly not native american decent cast in Lone Ranger (yikes, etc. but stories where culture isn't influential shouldn't matter; 2 examples being Speed Runner cast with a white family, and Scarlett Johansson in Ghost in the Shell. Yeah in those cases the originals were Japanese, but those stories can take place anywhere and acted by anyone.

2. Let's just hope that upcoming reboot doesn't suffer the same fate as Powerpuff Girls 2016, we all know what happened when original creator, Craig McCracken, wasn't involved with it and why he was brought back to helm the 2nd Powerpuff Girls reboot.
On the other hand, given Kricfalusi's fall from grace AND the unadulterated disasterpiece that was Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon, I can understand why he was left out. You can't do worse than Adult Party Cartoon.

I recently heard about the Dan Schneider stuff. Honestly the foot fetish thing feels like he had it up on a giant sign and we all missed it.
And that Invader Zim episode while funny did really gross me out. When Zim was bloated and you could see organs in his throat as he talked I actually felt a little ill. But the line from the nurse near the end still makes me laugh, Such a healthy boy. And such abundant organs too.

When Jennette McCurdy and her siblings find their real father. Let's hope they can get a new mother. Even though Jennette's mother passed away. Even if their biological would be angry about her own family getting a new wife. I don't find this as selfish or mean-spirited. Getting a new mom is a way deal with grief and forgiveness. The new mother of Jennette, is part of her family tree. I found this to be justified.

Technically someone else found it before nickelodeon re airing the film so you guys can thank the lost media community for that and not nickelodeon because they technically jogged up Nickelodeon's memory about it. We may have known Nick for the sitcoms including cartoons, characters, humor, & slime but what we didnt know till were older that it was cursed for many things behind the scenes so Im glad things are getting better since Dan Schneider got fired due to his futile behavior on kids under 18.

I remember being 9 or 10 when the news about Jamie Lynn Spears' pregnancy broke. My parents didn't allow me to watch Zoey 101 after that, and the news covered the story very closely. She got a lot of negative press. To me that was a huge scandal at the time

I didn't even know Nickelodeon HAD scandals. But I watched Nickelodeon starting around 1991 when I was 6. I certainly didn't watch the news but my parents did so maybe that's why I was only allowed to watch a few shows.
