Honorable Mention- Final Destination: Bloodlines had easily one of the franchise’s BEST opening disasters. In my opinion, some of the sequences, I. E 4 and 2, are drawn out for far too long and let the carnage happen very quickly, which doesn’t allow you to really savor the chaos. In the most recent one set atop the Skyview restaurant tower in the 1960’s, all the dominos fell perfectly into place, building tension perfectly so that when the sequence finally began: it didn’t feel rushed nor was it too fast.

What. the actual. FK
THIRTY entries and you completely failed to include the opening of STAR WARS (1977)
It's legitimately an opening scene that CHANGED FILMMAKING FOREVERMORE! While I cannot argue against the inclusion of the thirty you selected, that one is a HUGE fail on your part.

Y'all might be too young to remember, but the opening scene of A New Hope was incredibly inventive for 1977. Only movie I ever paid to see 7 times.
