I swear, they must be using similar mechanics to portal to give the infinite loop effect. When they are to be transferred into a new area, they use the same mechanic as well. When the player decides to change his orientation, the viewport & gravity of the game is rotated to the orientation of the wall he picks. This is truly some amazing gameplay with a great art style to go with it.

I agree with comments about the sound design. We're getting a vision of infinity and escher-like geometry. The sound needs to reflect this. I hope environmental sounds are added to enhance the experience. Personally I'd use shepard tones combined with drones as a way to convey the sense of falling and arriving at your origin.

I thought for sure this was going to be an Antichamber sequel. Though, it must be said, Antichamber was a game about interacting with non-Euclidian geometry, not physics, so even though the art style seems similar, they're not conceptually familiar, really.

Love the accompanying introductory commentary--intelligent and insightful and why I come to Polygon. Much preferred over the standard -presented without comment, XX minutes of- gameplay footage. More of this please!

TBH I think this is better than antechamber/antichamber. In antichamber, the rules are pretty arbitrary and change at any point. This one is internally consistent and isn't just trolling you.

I'm interested in playing this but, man these early footage looks like these are areas of Antechamber that I missed somehow. Was there some reason to copy that games style so exactly?

They shouldn't have started the game with those boring indoor sequences. They put too many of just press the button here and put the box here that were all basically the same.

Looks really great, very well developed it seems. But not a game for me, just
not in to these kind of games. Still, amazing looking game!

Graphics heavily inspired by that other mind-bending game. Name's slipped my mind.
This looks great, with unique mechanics, though!

I'm beyond excited for this. Playing around in the outside environment alone was memorizing and addicting.
