I've always loved this franchise. Vesperia and Abyss are 2 of my all time favorite games but in general I'm not a big fan of the changes in animation style they've made since then, the characters look okay and I think its more my preference for that but the landscapes just don't seem as alive. This literally looks like it was pulled from Xillia. That being said, Namco Bandai has always had a good history with setting the atmosphere in games with amazing soundtracks and character development so I hope this game is a step up from Zestiria, which was okay but that whole DLC story cabosh really put a damper on it.

Christina Vee as Velvet on the game? Yes please. I'm not too fond of Eleanor's voice, but I'll wait until seeing cutscenes to make any further judgements.
I may also add that I love how Namco is finally getting consistent with their translations, it's always been frustrating to me to see how they'd change translations to something else (specially true on earlier games.
Therions were a terminology already used in Zestiria and I'm glad it's the one used here (directly relating therions>hellions, just like hyouma>gouma

Namco really fell into the oblivion belief that -graphics don't matter-.
Just look at the floor textures and design, and environment. does it really look like PS4-level to anyone? Cause I thought this was PS3 or even PS2.
Gameplaywise, I prefer the old Tales games.
It's nothing against Berseria, I am sure must be fun, but I expected more graphically, too lacking on that (Zestiria felt the same way.

I'll be honest, I'm repeatedly disappointed by the visuals the tales team is putting out. They do some lovely cities and towns, but the fields and dungeons always look like bland, unpopulated, copy paste messes. Plus this is the PS4 for crying out loud, would it kill them to have higher res textures? I know they still do PS3 versions, but jeez it's not hard to start with a good texture for ps4 and scale it down.

Outstanding English voices, as I expected them to be. Looking forward to this game's release. By the way, does anyone else find it interesting that Velvet is voiced by the new Japanese and English VAs for Sailor Mars? Quite a coincidence, especially since Mars has long black hair and is a strong female character type.

So long as there will be no missing characters then i will buy and play this. Seems good -for now- unlike the disaster Tales of Zestiria. I will be able to play a spear character now. Damn. love Eleanor's fighting style. Might primarily use her, Velvet and Magilou.

The environment does not give me much hope in terms of level design. Xillia looked good. What happened with Zesteria and this one. Zestiria's level design and story were so bad. I'm hoping Berseria's story is at least compelling.

I'm surprised I see so many praising the music in these comments. Tales has some of the worst soundtracks of any video game, Berseria is no different. May sound good now, but you've only heard like 3 tracks. Calm yourselves.

I really glad and reliefed they're starting to further process for VA's & Dubs and Subs in English from USA bringing some voice cast from the series of Tales of Zestiria The X and others that aren't in it yet.

That music, that battle outro, that -hoverboard. - this is going to be a good game. The only thing I have reservations about are the graphics and the level design. Their damn hair is too shiny!

I hope you can change the display to make the damage stack up, similar to Zestiria, rather than it displaying each individual strike.
