This pittie was tied to a fence in the middle of the night wait to see her fall in love with her new dad I like dogs and pets as much as the next person here but don't you guys ever ask yourselves why some(most) of these abandoned dogs are from this breed, pitbulls and alike
Maybe they attacked someone already and the previous owner did not have the heart to put it down. Meaning the dog already have a history of attacking people.
And then people put these dogs for adoption without knowing it's past and history with people. It's wrong.

A picture of the dog believed to have killed a 10-year-old boy has been revealed.
Jack Lis was mauled to death at the home of a friend in Pentwyn, Penyrheol, Wales, on Monday.
The dog was shot by firearms officers who attended the scene.
Gwent Police confirmed on Wednesday they had arrested a woman on suspicion of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control, causing injury resulting in death.
She has been released on conditional bail, the force said.
Watch: Detectives probe whether dog that killed boy was illegal
The dog was described as an American bulldog or a pitbull by neighbours, but this has not been confirmed and experts will examine it to check if it is an illegal breed.
Tests could be carried out to check the animal's DNA along with its owners and breeders being questioned by officers.
Chief Superintendent Mark Hobrough said experts will look at the character traits of the dog to see if it is a banned breed.
He said: As our investigation continues, we will be removing our scenes from the area and the work to identify the breed of dog involved is also progressing.

As a Staffordshire Bull Terrier Dad, I want to thank you for rescuing this beautiful fur baby.
My fiancee and I adopted our Staffordshire Bull Terrier after being rescued by the police and RSPCA in the UK, after a life of abuse and being used as a bait dog.
So once again I would like to thank you and his foster family for giving her the love she so richly deserves

We saw someone dump a pit bull at a park late at night. Luckily for that dog other people came by and offered an immediate home. I’ve often wondered about the guy who would do such a thing. The dog was sweet and well socialized. Was the guy dumping the wife’s, girlfriend’s, family’s dog just to mess with them

How can anyone just abandon a pet like that I hope the babies she obviously had were given to good homes. So glad that someone rescued her and her foster parents also took such good care of her! I love that the dad didn't care one bit when she got hair all over his nice suit, that speaks volumes!

It's so sad that all Pitties are still considered dangerous by UK laws. I grew up in the same belief but then I met Bruce he was a Pittie-Cross and the dog of a colleague. The sweetest dog I ever met, since then I only met friendly Pitties-ish doggies. They are so adorable.

Granted there are better ways to surrender or abandon your pet. but her first family obviously loved her if they left her with food and water and a blanket. perhaps they fell on hard times, Mia is such a sweet meatball, full of love im so happy she has a loving furever home

Some people just don’t recognize the beautiful jewels they have and discard them without a thought. Thankfully there are treasure hunters out there who know something’s worth at a glance. What a beautiful treasure Mia is

Glad she was found & rescued before she ended up hurt. And while this may be her foster dad, um I think she chose you to be her furever person. I hope she was a foster fail, but if not I know they will find her a great home!

I have a feeling that her previous owner had an issue and couldn't keep her or her babies. Thanks for saving her. Ive saved many dozens of cats and dogs un the mountains of central Pennsylvania over the years.

It takes 2 minutes to call a shelter. I am sorry but there is no excuse for tying up and abandoning you dog. Dont ba a lazy pos and had them to people who will care for them

I don't know who you are, where you live and what you do. But when you see the video of this lovely dog: I wish you good health, good luck and happiness with your family!

The terrible human who abandoned the puppa girl in those miserable conditions, fortunately made her chance with that shameful decision. I wish it always went so well.
reply

What an adorable girl!
I suppose as far as just leaving your dog behind goes, at least giving them a blanket, food and water is as good as it gets.

reply

If this was someone's dog who went to the storethere wouldn't be food and water bowls and she wouldn't be in the middle of nowhere. Just my opinion
reply

thank you for being a compassionate and responsible rescuer (as opposed to this baby's owners who were fine with tossing her out.
