The Real Reason Kristoff Was Raised By The Trolls 10 Things Disney's Frozen 2 Got Right This Is How Hans Will Return In Frozen 2 Hey there Disney fans! If you're like us, you probably think that Frozen is one of the best movies ever. We love Elsa and Anna's inspiring relationship, and can't get over how enchanting the Kingdom of Arendelle is. From magical princesses to reallife trolls, to lively snowmen and back again! Nothing is impossible in the magical world of Frozen. But, that hasn't stopped us from raising a curious eyebrow or two whenever the subject of Kristoff's family arises. Kristoff is a bit of a fixerupper. He's super sweet and helpful, but he isn't exactly chummy with humans. He was raised in an orphanage but couldn't bear to live among other orphans. So, the adventurous and freespirited Sami outdoorsman ran away and found his tribe. He was raised by a female troll named Bulda, who lives among a colony of mystical trolls. Kristoff's past is a mystery, and we're determined to unravel it. Tune into TheThings to find out what really happened to Kristoffs parents

On the night he and Sven were kidnapped by the trolls, Kristoff was barely hip high to the men on the harvesting crew, he nearly fell in the water a few times and the only one paying any attention to him was Sven. I find it hard to believe that his father was part of that crew. I also find it hard to believe that decent parents would let their eight-year-old son to accompany an ice harvesting crew to watch much less take part in the work, so I think we can conclude that Kristoff's parents were dead as of the beginning of Frozen.
He may have made the clothes he was wearing that night himself. It might be rare for a boy that age to be skilled at sewing, but I don't think it's impossible.
The real life Sami may not marry outsiders, but Disney does take liberties when making their movies: Frozen is a far cry from the Snow Queen on which it's supposed to be based.
The valley of the trolls was a long way from any human village and Bulda may have realized that a boy that young wouldn't have been out there if he had loving people looking after him. We can't rely too much on Norse mythology about the trolls in Frozen since the Norse described trolls as not being very bright. When Kristoff and Sven were old enough to look after themselves the trolls let them leave, apparently without altering their memories.
I think the trolls would have good reason to be warry of strangers, Pappy did warn Elsa about using her magic by creating an image that was clearly meant to depict her being attacked by a mob.
I think that Kristoff's had been loosely connected to the Northuldra and died when he was young leaving him in the care of people who weren't committed to his well being and he was grateful to be taken in by the trolls who actually liked him and Sven.

Actually I kinda think that Kristoff belongs to the people of the enchanted Forest because as you said that samis keep reindeers with them and so do the northuldran tribe so his father was an Arendallian and his mother northuldran
Edit: samis and the northuldran people's dress and tents we're kinda same so Elsa Anna and Kristoff belong to the same land

maybe Frozen 3 will be about Kristoff find his parents and Elsa finding a male lover who would accept her and her magic now that would be cool then she can have a boyfriend and if they have a kid it can be born with the Ice magic power and Elsa will help her kids better.

I doubt that the ice harvesters would have brought a small boy on one of their runs so he was probably not an official member, just tagging along. Christoph seemed to like the idea of being adopted by the trolls so he almost certainly had no family.

Ha, in Frozen 3 they will reveal that Kristoff is a Troll, using magic to look human. Then Anna kisses Olaf, when she secretly learns that Kristoff is an evil Troll and Olaf turns into Anna's prince, that she lives happily ever after with.

Attention Hard Core Frozen fans! We know Elsa was born during the winter solstice and Anna during the summer solstice, but when is Kristoff's birthday? Did Jennifer Lee ever provide that? If so, please share what you know.

queen iduna and king agnarr are Kristoff's parents, and the Trolls stole him as a baby, so that Elsa would become queen. Because of what Elsa's grandfather did to the enchanted forest.

It pops into my head were they were on the same boat as king and queen of arendelle and they sunk with them I hope you guys all agree with this because this is my best idea
