Some of them like Simba and Elsa werent exactly villains but more of heroes that are the antagonist instead of the protagonist. Also villains like Gaston didnt really care much and just wanted to force Bell to marry her, some were even considered Pure Evil on Villains Wiki while some were rejected and would have been categorized as Anti-Villains or Evil Vs. Evil. The only one that seems to have a not rejected Pure Evil approval is Scar due to how they are still the main villain who is almost like a posthumous one.

I believe that the other Disney villains have a good bone in their body but Mother Gothel is not one of them. She stole Rapunzel as a baby from her parents, kept her hidden for 18 long years in a tower and when Rapunzel left the tower she was only worried because of her magical hair. Since the Sun drop flower got tooken away she said that she will keep it hidden when she gets it back. And also, let's mention she left her real daughter for Rapunzel. That doesn't seem like she has a good bone on her body.

Elsa is not a vilain. She just could not control her powers and was trying to protect people from herself. She didn't even know that she set an eternal winter. And in the ice palace she was just trying to Save herself as the guards of the duke were trying to kill her.

Okay I agree with you but honestly I hate that you didn't add the fact that Elsa tried to keep everyone safe even if it meant she had to live alone for the rest of her life. So sure she was a villain but definitely not evil and definitely didn't mean any harm.

Elsa is not a villain
She just can't control her powers until she knows the solution which was right in front of her love.
We all make a lot mistakes but it does not make us a villian not even disney characters.

I think that a character who is both a villain and a hero can be also McQueen from Cars. In the first movie he was selfish and arrogant and all. But he changes till the end of the movie)

The real villan in frozen was the king and queen of Arendel that seperated the sisyers, if Anna had knew about Elsas powers Anna would have been able to help Elsa dealing with her powers!

Gothel wasn't good at all! She's just worried bcz of her own benefit. without Rapunzel she will become old again that's why she was worried and don't let Rapunzel to go outside.
