We want New villains & new places. No repeats.
The ocean is a big place,
We would like to explore new Realms instead of going back to the old ones we already saw.
Otherwise it would be way too repetitive.
As a strong leader mowana shouldn't need to rely on her grandmother spirit all the time especially after she passed away that chapter is over.
It would be interesting to let some time to pass Moana to be a bit older with her own child to raise.
Bringing a new adventure in which Maui needs to help Moana with a new task.
Perhaps moana's child is having a difficult time respecting and connecting with nature the way she did. perhaps moana's child question they're Legends and questioned the existence of Maui.
In which Moana and Maui has to rescue her child from new villains connected with the old ones.
In which moana's child realizes they're Legends are not fairy tales.

I think that Moana should find out she's actually a demigoddess of the ocean, maybe because Maui might actually be her father, due to the whole buried an eel's guts and made coconuts during the song You're Welcome. In legend, Sina (Moana's mother in the film) had an eel fall for her, and she told her husband, who killed the eel and buried its remains, making the coconut trees. Her husband was Maui, the same trickster demigod in the film, so is Maui really her father? Or maybe she had a connection to the ocean all along, and was the demigoddess of the ocean since she was born. It would be SO COOL if Moana's actually a demigoddess of the ocean (explains the whole ocean powers in the film!

That's friend with fire?
Wait, i think the problem with fire would be that the ocean is only a part of the water, so it can't be just the element fire.
And, seeing as we already had fire(teka) and earth(te fiti, how about wind?
It would make sense kinda, since it's not air itself, but a part of it, which is also important for sailing.

Most ( not all, have had love interests of one sort or another. seeing how Maui is a demi god and does not age. yet Moana does. Could there be some love interest between those two in a Moana 2 movie? Or perhaps a prince from another tribe would come to claim her? I mean there could be a lot of plots that could make for a really cool movie if that was the case.

the reason moana got the heart was that her grand mother was chosen before her. the grand mother then tried to trick her son to carry back the stone by giving it to his friend, who would have convinced him to go on the quest once they passed the reef but they didn't and the friend fell off the boat, returning the heart to the sea

this is just a theory but they got it from a culture and moanas mom [i forgot her name] had a husband and one day she was walking around when an eel flirted with her and her husband killled it and they got coconuts hense in the song youre welcome thats what maui said he did so mybe[shock] thats moanas real father

Or, If there will be a sequel to Moana maybe this time we will see why Maui was saves by the gods and how he deals with his past. Moan could be stuck in a situation where her old
friend introduces his past and threatening the lives of Motunui at the same time. Just like in the first movie. Right?

_Moana and her family make life of their new home, and everything seems fine. However, Maui, on the other hand, loses his hook to another Demi-God. _

I really hope its not going to be about a Latina princess because the first was so good we need a sequel that has her and the other characters in the spotlight again especially with all the questions from the first one

Am I the only one who is thinking of what her dad would do to follow the line of chiefs? He would probably try to find someone for them like in Brave, with Merida and her mom!
