Making a movie or TV show can be quite dangerous; from the stunts, the physicality a role can bring, and building trust with the cast and crew. Unfortunately, actors and actresses injuring themselves on set is inevitable and there are even times where it can completely halt the production. Actresses such as Letitia Wright who suffered an injury while filming the high profile Marvel Studios sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, were fortunate enough that their injuries werent too serious and were even treated within a day. Other times, actors like Dylan OBrien who was the victim of an onset accident while filming The Maze Runner: The Death Cure, had to go through months and months of recovery which caused the entire production to be put on pause for an entire year! Oscar winning stars like Tom Hanks and Jennifer Lawrence thought their on set injuries were not too serious at first, but they later learned that their respective injuries had long term effects. Actors such as K. J. Apa, Jacob Elrodi, and Zac Efron werent too bothered by getting hurt on set. Apa actually hid the fact that he broke his arm while filming the season one finale of Riverdale; while Elrodi called his injury the most fulfilling thing that he ever shot as an actor. Actresses Isla Fisher and Kate Winslet nearly drowned while filming Now You See Me and Titanic, but thankfully were able to free themselves. Injuries on set are much more common than you might think, sometimes they are nothing too serious while other times it can completely change an actor or actress entire career!

Being an actor can be a dangerous profession. While stuntmen and women are employed to take on risks, sometimes injuries aren't always preventable.
