12 Extreme Rules The Squid Game Cast Had To Follow

The Squid Game cast may be incredibly famous, but they definitely earned it not only with their incredible performances, but with the amount of rules they had to follow and work they had to do to be part of this special show. Working on the most successful show ever on Netflix was definitely exciting and wed think the actors would want to talk about all the cool stuff they got to do but that was a major no no, the actors couldnt even do any interviews with press unless it was okay with the production. The actors also had to commit to staying in shape if they didnt, they could risk not being able to carry out the highly physical scenes and since the actors didnt have stunt doubles, this was a serious issue. One actor had to stay in shape AND gain nearly forty pounds! While it helped the show, the actor still suffered quite a bit physically because of the intense demands. Working on a project this ambitious takes a lot of time and concentration but that didnt stop one actor from taking on a major role while still writing his university thesis! That actor was allowed to do both, but he had to rise to the occasion and commit all his energy to the show when he was needed. One actor couldnt speak with their normal accent they had to spend time training with an accent coach in order to sound how they needed to for the show. It may not have been easy, but committing to all these rules was a major contributor to making the show as amazing as it is!

The fact that there's no ridiculously obvious stunt double shots is amazing. Insane. You don't see that in America.
They won't let an actor jump off a damn chair half the time.
And wow, a Pakistani expat living in Korea, speaks the language fluently and also speaks perfect English.
Holy hell, that dude has put in some work.
Born and raised Americans I live next to know less fluent English than he does.

i love how the casting director was so inclusive for such a big series! casting an acting student is such a big risk to take but anupam touched so many of us with his portrayal of the character ali. and hoyeon had no acting experience in the past and to make her such a vital character must have been a sure risk to take. love this show, how inclusive and how real it is

That Actor or Actress needed to be in fit for they can properly execute what they have given to act with. I mean Isn't that obvious to all movie film makers. so why did it had to bring it up now in squid games

Everyone is only talking abt the actors
No one is talking about the Still as Statues. It must've been exhausting and tiring for them to be idle or in a particular pose.

0: 36 thats whats so amazing about movies/shows that arent American. They dont rely on makeup and green screen. Its always more realistically done

Fun fact the reason why there is a tree in front of the doll its because the camera takers can clip the video in top of the tree

Some of these are standard to most filming, movies or series. This list was made for cheap awhs or oooos. Cheap shock value.

Did anyone else see that when mi-neoy didnt get a partner what happened to the math teacher? And 456 was last in every game
