Baldoni and Lively. Wow. Reem do you have a magic mirror
I’m not a huge Lively fan, and I know nothing about Baldoni but every time he talks, I get irrationally angry. I have been trying to stay away from this completely because I can’t sleep at night when I do and I have really hard time getting it off my mind. I haven’t seen the movie, I won’t either because it’s about abuse which is a trigger for my CPTSD. Although Baldoni doesn’t resemble my abuser at all when he talks, or whenever I read a response of his, I know he is lying. I’m not saying Lively is innocent of anything, but neither is Baldoni.
He terrifies me, Reem. He’s thousands of miles away from me, has nothing to do with my life, and everyone else is seeing this from a completely different perspective. He’s not the perfect angel he pretends to be.
Except for my daughter who knows my abuser and has read Baldoni’s response and without any prompting said it sounded just like my abuser everyone thinks he’s wonderful.
It’s everywhere Reem, even you brought it up. I am not angry with you, I am guessing you were supposed to say it, but how do I draw a circle around something I have no control over
I would love to draw a giant circle around the whole thing and never think about it again, but how do I deal with this without completely shutting down my intuition

I fell into caring about this quickly and so much
Everytime we have some imagined (by me) crisis I feel closer to him when it resolves and I see him more clearly
