Loafers: Been on em as part of my shoe/boot rotation! So, glad to see that the Authority of Men's Fashion & Grooming is giving them his cosign! If you're wondering what kind of loafers or where do you start? Here's 2 options for you to dip your toes in! (no pun intended ) The biggest trend right now is lug soles; in boots including Chelseas, think hiking boot soles. Which btw, if you're gonna get the most essential 3 boots; go for 1) Chelsea 2) military/combat, & 3) hiking. You're forgiven if you don't hop on the cowboy boots trend just yet, lol. Okay! 2 safe and cool loafers options! 1) Thick sole penny loafers. Penny loafers are classic. They'll NEVER go out of style, and you can be sure of that because they've NEVER GONE out of style! From the 1950s on up to Michael Jackson dancing in the 80s, and the shoe of choice for any decade's preppy look of khakis & a Polo/Lacoste shirt. But for a really NOW look, search thick/big/lug sole penny loafers. Brown or black leather. 2) Driving loafers. These have kinda the opposite of a lug sole. They're a lot more casual and comfortable than penny loafers, most are suede & really really soft & flexible. And the bottoms don't have one whole flat sole, but sections of usually rubber subtle grips kinda like some sneakers have. They're called driving loafers because that's exactly what they were designed for, driving. That's why they're soft & flexible to be comfortable and move with your feet on the brake and gas (and clutch if you're a badass! The new Acura Integra, and the soles are made to stay secure on the pedals and not slip off while you're driving. But you don't ACTUALLY even have to drive to rock driving loafers; they're just a great option that younger dudes look cool wearing. In place of sneakers, w/ jeans, chinos, & even w/ shorts looks dope. Just search driving loafers and see what you think. Kenneth Cole has a great variety of colors and styles. Well-made, look dope, last forever, and won't cost a fortune. The major key here with loafers is the same as w/ hairstyles: Be BRAVE! Be BOLD! And break outta your comfort zone! Don't WORRY about what all your friends are wearing or what they'll think! Take the leap and be a leader! You'll see that soon you'll grow in confidence in how you look and how you act! I'm already rocking the vintage style pieces since 2022. And if u take my advice. This style can make u look 100x better than others. In my opinion if u go. with light and pastel colours. It will be more good
