I feel like the rare (but lucky) microscopic % that DOES NOT produce body odor. As a young kid (9-12 years) yes, I did. But most of my teen years (Im 26 now) I didnt. I didnt own a deodorant product. Its as if the gene connected to BO died? Either that, or its my diet, lols. I know it sounds gross, but I can go 5+ days in the fall/winter without a shower, but Ive only done that if I were locked in my room to study. I shower not because of BO, but because I feel sticky if Ive been sweating (working out, warm weather. I occasionally use deodorant and have been for the past. 3 years maybe? Mainly because I wanted to go from unscented to nicely-scented for the first guy I dated. Now I sometimes use deodorant only to enhance my scent. Ive found some that smell better throughout the day (mixed with my pheromones. I currently use Old Spice Timber, very masculine, and sometimes Noir body spray from Bath & Body Works. I feel great knowing that I can unleash a fragrances potential when I sweat and it mixes with my pheromones WITHOUT body odor interfering. Anyone else out there just like me? Oh, you hit the gym, didnt shower, now youre going out and forgot deodorant? So? I never smell. LOL

The woman with hairy pits needs to shave her pits or wear long sleeves. If I was a man that would make her un datatable to me. And yes, removing armpit hair does reduce body odor because hair traps sweat and bacteria making you smell worse. That was its purpose back when we were proto humans, to trap scent. We have a special type of sweat glands in our axillary areas that produce odor. 50% of men don't use it, and at least 50% of all men stink of BO.

I am very surprised to know that people in Europe have known nothing before the 18th (or the 19th century maybe as the documentaries say)about removing body hair and body odors. In Middle east countries and specially in my country I am pretty sure that we have removing hair methods since thousands of years. also in Egypt, pharaohs and old Egyptians were removing all of their body hair men and women.

Btw never wear antiperspirant to bed. It gets all over sheets and blankets and is tough to fully wash out. Instead of deodorant, wearing scented lotions or coconut oil on your under arms is better. Sweat glands need to drain and repeated applying of antiperspirant can result in the formation of cysts or pimples. Also aluminum particles in it can cause issues with cancer and thyroid.

Notice how the black woman didn't show up til the 1950s smh. Actually surprised as ads with black people didn't show up mainly until the 60s. but I digress. This is accurate history nonetheless. Natural underarm stuff is the best way to go, say no to aluminum ladies, it links to breast cancer among others.

Anyone know a good aluminum free deodorant? Im trying to slowly phase it out (I might not be able to entirely if I do my hobby as a college sport) but Im trying to find a good one. Ive been trying Doves aluminum-free as a sortve introduction, but it seems to absorb in a few hours. Any better brands?

It's sad that such a blaming and agressive advertisments pushed a half of humanity to change their definition of hygiene. In fact, using dezodorant and body shaving are just a way to sell new products, without any practical purpose and that advertisments literally indoctrined people to think different

I've smelled so many funky people at the market I now know WHY These people don't wear deodorant. I choose not to wear antiperspirant but(NATURAL) deodorant is a must honey nearly no one eats well enough & detoxes effectively enough to be deodorant free. We smell you. That hoodie hides NOTHING.

When I started eating clean, I stopped using deodorant all together and as soon as my body detoxified from all those nasty pre-packaged Foods my sweat stop smelling I would still sweat a little bit but there is literally no smell to it whatsoever Something to think about.

In the early 2000s, Axe was going to be the death of all us teenage girls at the time. Those boys smelled so bad when they drenched themselves in it It was a problem with my one brother where I had to make my mom step in. Axe can just be retired. for good
