I ve been working towards moving out of my parents home since I was in my early 20s, but it took me till my early 30s to achieve (this year in February) It s been an amazing and growing experience but difficult at times, especially with lockdown happening and being at home alone unable to work for 10 weeks. I love my home but noticed my own negative talk has returned. It all feels too good to be true, but also I have to remind myself that I have worked hard for this! It s okay to feel emotional when a goal has been achieved. It s important to take a moment, recognise who we are in this new life space and make time to set new goals.
