I will actually use my regular sugar scrub, I use it once to twice a week, and I use it on my lips once a week, then I make sure I rinse really well. After getting out of the shower I put some chapstick on them and they're soft for a few days. I'll have to try the home made stiff though. because I love lipstick, and it dries my lips out really badly.

I wouldn't spend that amount of money on a lip scrub, since I DIY almost everything on my daily skin routine. I get really good results for a fraction of the money: )Although, I love that someone had the idea of selling a lip scrubbing system. It's actually brilliant: P

I love it Both seem really great, like you said, depends on your personal preference and budget. Personally, the DIY version is much more easily accessible for me than the high end one, but I would like to try it later on maybe: )

I think I'd like to do what you did and try both. I'd be a bit apprehensive due to the price of the pout o matic. But if and when I have funds, perhaps I'll do it. For now cheap DIY works best for me. . Thank you for posting this

I have a Bliss foaming lip cleanser and it feels tingly too, I use it after exfoliating my lips with a toothbrush. I like the pout-o-matic (terrible name, lol, but it seems pretty pricey. Loved the video, please do more comparisons

If you want to be more through with the diy scrub you can always use a soft electric children's toothbrush, they have them for maybe 5 and they'll do a better job of buffing off the dead skin from your lips without damaging them.

Tip I learned from Tyra Banks; slather Vaseline on my lips, wait about 10 minutes then wet my soft bristled toothbrush (yes, toothbrush) with warm water to softly scrub my lips. Exfoliates and isn't harsh. Works every time.

I use my Elf lip exfoliation and then use an electric toothbrush for a couple of seconds - I only do it every other day though because I'm so prone to coldsores and my lips don't like to be stressed
