tips for knot bun: i had a lot of trouble with this because my hair is medium long, and i have a TON of it. i tried knotting the pony tail and i only got 2 knots. the best way to do it for thicker haired girls is to start out with the ponytail, then split it into 2, 3, or 4 smaller pony tails, secured at each base with a small elastic. then proceed to knot each one, fluff each up a little, pin, and place. result is a gorgeous, intricate looking bun it looks even better with waves or curls

I have to say, I really wanted to look super cute and chic for my senior year and that meant putting in a little more effort into my appearance. I wanted to have great hair, but didn't want to do what everyone else was doing. Your videos have helped me so much, they're quick, easy, require simple tools, and look fantastic I get a lot of compliments on my hair, straight up.

I have a very soft and thin hair but I do the first style once or twice a week and it looks amazing but my husband keep on telling me that using the flat iron will damage my soft hair so what I did is twist my hair and clip it then wait about an hour and I had the same result. I love watching your videos and the new background is better than the previous one. :)

waaah i am so so thankful for the first hairdo, the messy out-of-bed look i have never been able to get my hair messy looking like that, i swear i have been trying to figure out how to get it like that for years. tho my hair is messy and all over the place but not always in a nice way haha. thank you so much xoxo

I can't speak for Kaylie and I'm not a pro or anything but typically on she leaves her hair up until it isn't hot anymore. From what I understand, by putting the hair up you are letting the hair follicles that you have just opened, cool (and therefore close) in the shape that you want it to.
