I have a lot of hits and misses from Elf too! Love their glosses, but hate the gloss stick thing. Love their O Satin lipsticks. Love their powder bronzers and blushes. I really enjoy their Camo liquid blush too, but they can be really intense. I’m kind of eh on the Camo liquid bronzer. I hate their mascaras lol. Their eyeshadows are not special or exciting to me, but decent. I prefer Colourpop or the mini Milani palettes. However the Bite Size shadows by Elf are really good. I liked their new setting spray as it left a dewy finish, but I didn’t like that my makeup didn’t last at all. It is good for melting down powders if you need it or have dry skin, but not for locking down makeup. It’s also good before makeup too as a hydrating spray so more matte foundations have an easier slip and don’t dry down as fast. Love their setting powders! Their lip liners are a 8/10 for me. Not long lasting, but the colors are absolutely beautiful and they are really affordable. Easy to put on with a gloss for an effortless look.

I actually love the Soft Glam foundation. I know that not everyone does, but it always looks beautiful on my complexion. I also love the little twist up blushes. I have owned and used a few of them and they always add a beautiful sheen to my cheeks. Also loving the tutorial on applying powder. It truly is a great little trick. Patti (rxstrmom) also demonstrate s this in her videos. She's 82 and has deep lines and wrinkles. She always pulls her forehead, temples and sides of her face when applying foundation and powder. It helps to smooth out her wrinkles a bit so that the makeup doesn't accentuate her wrinkles quite as much. I think it's a genius trick for us mature ladies.

The original Elf CC Camo actually made my skin burn and wasn't even expired yet but I had no issues with the Hydrating CC and Satin foundation which was reformulation of their original without the fragrance however both very long lasting. I was watching another podcast and they hated the waterproof brow pencil but my eyebrows prefers it over the original bc my eyebrows are oily so it always transferred. I don't do bronzers liquid or powder and never got into the hype. I do like elf's pot concealer. I have combo sensitive skin now but I have been using them since High school when I was extremely Ance prone oily so that might be factor along with preference and age.

For years I tried every beauty trick. expensive creams, endless tutorials, new routines. No matter what I did, something always felt missing. Then I stumbled on The Forbidden Art of Majestic Beauty, and chapter 3 in particular stopped me cold. It explained beauty in a way I had never considered. like a hidden force that could be activated. I tried just one thing from that chapter, and suddenly people I’d known for years were treating me differently. Compliments, stares, even questions about whether I’d changed something. If you’re shy or not ready for that kind of attention, I honestly wouldn’t recommend going down this path

I love a lot of ELF products but they do have their misses. I agree with you on all of the items! They have a lot of hidden gems and once you find them you wonder why they aren’t getting talked about. I also love their skincare line. I have sensitive skin and eyes and their makeup removing balm, makeup removing oil (doesn’t Not sting my eyes, the holy hydration cream with spf in it, the eye cream, and their thirst burst drops are just some of my favorites Tyfs with us! Have a great week. Hugs!

Elf has always been my go to for their complexion products: the camo foundation and concealer, the under eye putty primer and jelly highlighter have been my faves for years. Next up would be their primer-infused bronzers and blushes, absolutely stunning! I still have their $3 brow pencil that I consider another OG. I agree that their mascaras and lip products are a hard pass, especially when L'oreal and Revlon have superior products.

The shades of the ELF complexion products are so weird. Halo glow liquid and setting powder are amazing. Putty blush is amazing liquid blush so hard to work with, the blush stain is even worse but great on the lips. I found the chubby blush patchy too. Their mascara was also an epic fail. I have a small eyeshadow palette that was super chalky but you're right that cream eyeshadow is unstoppable!

Try the contour/bronzer version of the halo wands. The blush and highlighter ones are not good in my opinion, but I love the contour ones. They blend super easy, a little goes a long way, and the formula is nice and thin so it works well for light makeup but can be built up for fuller coverage looks as well! I’d be curious to know how they compare to luxury options.

Hi and thanks for the reviews! I like the ELF Power grip primer - good dupe for Milk-the putty primer and their lip oil, but that’s about it. Honest powder works better for me and you’re spot on on Maybelline for the eyes. I
love your brush application demos! I want to know more about how to use them before choosing a set that is right for my needs.

I'm in love with their shimmering lip oils, I found one that matches my natural lip colour - it adds such a pretty shimmer, makes them look juicy and moisturized and it's under $10. Will be buying until they stop making it lol (Editing to add that the shade was Princess Cut I commented before getting to the end of the video, it really is THAT shade)

elf Soft Glam is my favorite. I can't wear either of the CC creams. They are wash it off immediately because they look so bad on me foundations. The tinted spf is almost as bad, but if I use the tiniest amount and plan to only wear it for 4 hours or so, it can at least do that. The Soft Glam wears 12 hours easy for me. Mature combo/oily skin.

I tried elf back in my 20's. I'm still scared of that brand almost 40. Still scared to try again. I don't know if it's because I have olive skin that's oily or what but it was a disaster. Warm Olive meaning my skin is warm under toned and I'm green/gray. The lipstick shades pulled so gray and chalk white. It was bizarre.

I'm assuming this will be deleted as I saw no negative posts. But I'll try anyway. Tati, what are you doing Are you not aware of the scandal surrounding ELF I'm very disappointed and distraught by this. I've been abused. I think I'm done here. I've enjoyed your videos. This is just too personal for me.

Y'all ever try their lip liner Worst lip liner ever. I agree with Tati about the Lash Xtender mascara. My issue is that I always compare other makeup products to my benchmark brand, which is MAC, so other brands often fail in comparison. I will say I do enjoy Elf's Fine as Fleck eyeshadow though.

I love the pink and green elf mascara’s, some of the others I like and have, I do use the contour bronzer stick tube but just as lip liner, and pull it down some just as a natural look.
I do like these videos, even tho I do know things may not work for you it could for me. Thanks Tati!

The only reason I like the Lash Xtnder mascara is bc it doesn’t irritate my eyes and removes easy. I have yet to find a mascara that truly WOWS me. I like the chubby blush. The eyeshadows I want to like but the tones never work for me. I have a weird color and tone to my skin

I’m not gonna lie I gasped when you said you didn’t like elf mascara. I love the lash extender but that’s because pretty much everything smears on me and I was spending like $25 on thrive but this one is like 7 bucks and doesn’t smear on me, thank goodness!

I loved this Tati, please keep doing videos like this. I love Elf but I’ve bought too many things from them that didn’t perform in a usefully way for me. Even though it’s cheap, I don’t like buying things just to end up not using it/putting it in a landfill.

The lip plumping gloss dries my lips out, I had to throw it in the bin. I love their Lash n’ Roll mascara, to me it’s a great everyday mascara. I haven’t tried the lipsticks ( O Face Satin Lipstick ) yet, I’ve only heard good things about them.
