Expand the down bar It's full of pictures and helpful info: D No, this isn't a DIY on coloring your hair at home. I really don't think lightening your hair at home is a wise idea. I've seen a lot of hair disasters that resulted from at home color, so I'm only interested in helping you communicate with your hair stylist: . The StyleHaul shoot where I was turned into Spencer: Things to ask for: -Ombre highlights / off the scalp highlights -Explain: I like to have the ends lighter, but I don't want all of my hair perfectly faded. I like it to look broken up, so I still see some of the dark pieces through the ends. -Bring: A picture of highlights that you like and a picture that shows the hair colors that you like. Explain what you do and don't like about the hair in those pictures -Optional: Talk to your stylist about putting some highlights up close to your scalp to add a more sun kissed look. Make sure if you want some traditional highlights as well, your picture of the highlights you like has highlights up close to the scalp. -Optional 2: Ask him/her about how they will achieve that look in your hair. They might plan to use bleach, and if that is a problem for you, you want to address that before they apply it to your hair. (Side note, if your hair is dark and you want to go much lighter or it has been previously colored, it will need to have bleach applied to it) I don't promise that your hair will look exactly like you pictured it in your mind, but those steps will help you get closer to it Inspiration pictures: My first hair color: (this is the picture I showed the stylist) (doesn't have the ombre highlights, but the colors are pretty) My New Color: (this is the most similar to mine) The picture I showed my stylist

Thank you so much for this video When I saw your hair the way you had it done before, I thought That's exactly what I want cos I wasn't that much into that normal ombre look either. So I went to the hairstylist and showed him one of your videos with that particular style, sat there for three hours, paid over 70 pound and hate it I have no idea what that idiot did, but it's definitely not what I showed him: ( So annoyed cos I can't afford to get my hair done again for a couple of months. :

I looked over all the feedback on here but I believe it's a solid movie clip. My older brother simply wants to get spectacular with ladies. He picked up a shit load from a website called Master Attraction. (Google it if you want pretty good emails on picking up girls) The support concerned with getting girls from clubs in those emails from that site gave got him his first lays in about a couple of long yrs. I became pissed however seeing that I heard them all. Grrrr.

i watched this video yesterday, and lucky i did because today i had my coloring midterm and one of the extra credit questions was what is the balayage technique? (we haven't covered highlights yet) and when i took it i was like OMG this is what Kaley was talking about and thanks to you and your video, i got 108% on my midterm-- thanks

The colour looks beautiful on you, but you look beautiful all the time. I still love your natural colour. When I started watching your videos and I saw your natural colour it inspired me to ditch the dye after 17 years of colouring. I'm so happy I did and I give you all the credit for helping me have the courage to just be me

I found that really insightful. I'm here as my best friend instantly turned incredible with girls. He went from zero to hero. He pretended he failed to realize. Then he explained it to me when he was drunk. Turns out he uses the Jake Ayres Master Attraction Formula. Google it if you wish to learn about it. He's dating a stunner.

love it Can you do a video on an updo that you can wear with a graduation hat? I'm graduating this june and I want to wear my hair up for the ceremony however I dont know how to wear it so that it will look good in a graduation hat I was thinking something along the lines of a low, simple but elegant bun: )

Couldn't agree with you more, as a stylist I always tell my clients it will always stay in some form FOR the fact that for us brunettes when you want variation in your hair it is hard because we see regrowth SO FAST so to have this form of highlights is perfect because it is extremely low-maintenance

Just gotta say, you are beautiful And you look amazing in this color, and with every color you have had. I love them all I also don't think you need a save button because whenever you do a video or anything, you always look, like perfect So just wanted to say that you are beautiful. And that's it.

From the bottom of my heart let me tell you that your video could last like 3 minutes and you make it last foreveeeeeeer giving tons of unnecessary explanations, even though your hair looks really really good, i get lost a little: ( Have a great week, and you look really pretty.

This is actually the look that I've had for the last couple of years (I was too scared to go for the full ombre) and I love it. As you said, it looks more natural and also it is suuuuperr low maintenance (great for busy girls who don't want to spend that much money/time on their hair.
