I ADORE you I think you were fair, diplomatic, thorough, and wonderfully hilarious Loved the Oh its that little. regarding the tiny mirror. For those who are a bit challenged by Go 2 Beauty, I think this is core to their argument: it's one thing to be inspired by something/someone, it's completely different to advertise your brand as being an exact copycat - - they name themselves copy cat beauty. It begs the question where is their creativity or contribution to the beauty world? I can't afford all big name brands, and I'm comfortable to purchase an item that looks similar to the original. However, I can't in good conscious purchase their product for fear that I'm playing a role in the disrespect that it shows to the dozens or hundreds of people that worked on the original. Love you Manny Thank you for your time, hard work, enthusiasm, and for making me laugh when I can't get out of bed due to pain.

Personally I feel like the idea of these exact dupes is kind of pointing out how ludicrous the original brands price points are. Its like a reaction to overpriced products. If you can get wonderful quality for a few dollars then surely the issue is with the high end brands? Ive got drug store products that are amazing and high end products that are dreadful.

I love dupes but agree that its not cool for brands to do exact copies and rip off the original brand. Its just disrespectful. That being said-I couldnt always afford the high ends so its kind of good for people that love makeup but cant spend 40 on a palette or whatever. Im conflicted But I love your videos and you, in any case xx

Not even gonna lie, I'm a huge fan of bad habit beauty and shop hush cause they give gurlas like me on a budget the chance to try out good quality, affordable eyeshadow BUT they switch up packaging, lay outs, names, etc. where as this is just utterly humiliating. she's building her fame on little to no class tbh

Completely agree, it kinda sucks that these brands str8 up state they are dupes to a specific brand however, i support them as well b/c the struggle is real C'MON Like you said manny ill rather pay 7 vs 70. There are a lot of ppl with a passion nd true talent that unfortunately cnt afford the high end makeup.

i mean i look at it in a more positive light. if a brand wanted to copy my product, i would be flattered. its that good lol. but if someone copied my product, change it, and call it there own. i would have a problem. i see that more worse than just flat out copying it. but unpopular opinion lol

I totally agree with you Manny. I think dupes are great because not everyone can afford prestige brand products. However they should definitely switch the products up a bit if they're going to copy a brand's product. They should paraphrase instead of plagiarize You know? Love your videos

Im from Montana and have never been in a MAC store. We have an ulta and Sephora though. I save up and every few months I buy something I really want (my first Roller Lash as example. I think what you pay for is what you get, so its nice to save up and get something thats a better quality.

I think its unfair to copyright someones ideas and hard work Theres comparable products in all different areas, like pharmacy, skincare, etc. but they change packaging & other things as well. so its hard to say you cant do the same thing in makeup when its done in other areas as well
