we are going to be using the absolutely amazing Cat Eyes products. These products have magnetic particles which means you can do some pretty cool stuff with them, however, in this video, I am going to show you what happens when you combine Cat Eyes and bling. This is like the Naio version of the big bang So, I've already sculpted out a nail using the Natural Beige acrylic and we are going to be using the Steam Punk Cat Eyes gel polish as the base layer and I'm going to be applying 2 coats of this colour. However, on the second coat we are going to use the Cat Eyes Magnetic Wand and what this lets you do is move the magnetic particles around the nail. OMG How cool is that? Believe it or not, they are 10 colours in total and OMG, they are absolutely amazing. To finish off this design I am going to be top coating the design and then adding a bit of bling because all nails should have bling on them really. That's what it says in the Kirsty Meakin Nail Manifesto and then we are going to add a little bit of cuticle oil

Is it me or has the cat eye polish been out for years in other brands? I've had some of mine for years. I was using these same techniques and so were a ton of other people for the last 4 or 5 years. Heck they even have chameleon gel polishes that are magnetic not to mention they now have stronger magnets than those paddles that come with the polishes so you can make REALLY sharp lines and designs as well as all of the design magnets. I'm just confused about why this is being titled as a brand new idea or item just because it's the first time that naio had made it. They are way behind the eight ball here because magnetic polish isn't new and the idea and products have been around for years. And I REALLY love kirsty. So it's a bit of a disappointment.

I love Naio products, theyre some of the best Ive used I do feel like Naio is always a little late to the party. Cats eye polish has been around for ages. It would be so cool if Naio would let Kirsty have more input on products. Naio would be trend setters instead of followers. Or, possibly become a distributor for other brands of bling, too, so we could buy chains, other types of crystals, and 3D embellishments from Naio instead of 18 different shops. Id far rather give my money to a company who cares about its customers and gives outstanding service like Naio than less attentive, caring, and reliable companies.

I have a question if anyone can help me im still a little new to doing acrylics and my acrylic nails sometimes has little lumps on them and i have been using a nail file and a battery ran nail file from walmart and they both take me ages to smooth the nails out theyre just horrible. So Im shopping online for a nail file i want to know which one would be best for me a 100 grit or a 180 grit. i dont wanna have huge niks in my acrylic i just want it to be flushed and leveled nice thanks

this may seem like a silly question but if it has metal particles in it does that mean if you go through the metal detector things at an air port will it set of the alarms, also another silly question how does curing it stop the particles from reacting to a magnet? i love all your videos your an amazing artist and i really love the chemistry between you and Adam and your clients i love you all cant wait to see more videos xx

For those that do not know, These polishes are mimicking a phenomenon of natural gemstones: In gemology, chatoyancy, or chatoyance or cat's eye effect, is an optical reflectance effect seen in certain gemstones. I wish you guys would develop a magnet to creat the star effect. Asterism, the property of a star stone, is the phenomenon of gemstones exhibiting a star-like concentration of reflected or refracted light when cut en cabochon.

You are so awesome I knew you would love the cat eye. You can also get round magnets and make an S Curve. And make a totally awesome Galaxy design. They also have multi Chrome and shifting colors. I can just imagine you doing a Galaxy with your fine detail brush making the stars or planets. I can't wait to see what you come up with. Happy holidays. I am sending you peace love and joy for the New Year.

I love this By the way, cat eye is not a new productIt's so not new that in my country it's considered old-fashioned for some years But I still love this kind of design anyway) Neodymium magnet will give you a sharper and brighter stripe by the wayAnd I'm in love with your nails
