So, in today's video, I am going to be once again using the very wonderful Cat Eyes gel polish. If you haven't watched the other videos and you don't know what these are, they are essentially gel polishes that have magnetic particles inside of them which means that you can move the particles around using any type of magnets. OMG How cool is that? Although, the wonderful team at Naio has created two absolutely fantastic magnetic tools to get the most out of your designs So, first of all, I am going to be creating a base coat with Serious Black. This wonderful black gives you great coverage in one coat so you won't need to do a second coat at all. I love it. After curing that, we are going to get a wonderful selection of the Cat Eyes colours, so for this design I'm using Stratosphere, Frenemy, Poison Ivy, Etherial, Galaxy and Cracked Ice, however you can choose whatever colours you want from the Cat Eyes collection to create this design. So, what I'm gonna do is. I'm gonna paint on each colour randomly and create a sort of messy rainbow and then I am going to take the ombre brush and create a blend down the nail. I think it sort of has a Vincent Van Gough look to it when I do this, but please let us know in the comment box below which artist this design reminds you of. Now, I'm going to take a round magnet and just hold it over various parts of the nail to create this sort of cool black hole looking design which reminds me of the northern lights and then we are going to cure that when we're happy with it. Next, we are gonna pop some of this gorgeous glittery gel polish called Gem Explosion onto a palette and paint little streaks onto to the nail with this colour and then cure that. Finally, we are going to seal in the design with top coat and then pop it back into the lamp for a final cure

Wow, yeah, there totally are southern lights, too Yes, Adam got it right, Aurora Australis. All of that aside, I really love this look because it really does look like the photos of auroras I've seen. Most of the auroras that I've seen in video were primarily green, sometimes with a little blue, but only rarely have I seen video of the red/purple versions. I have only seen the northern lights with my own eyes once. My longitude is 39 degrees, so that's really far south for northern lights. It's only happened once in my lifetime. All I could really see was a wispy, dark red color that looked a bit like a sheer curtain, almost more like an hallucination than plasma that was actually in the sky above us.

Good morning you beautiful woman. good morning to you too Adam. Absolutely love love love this design. My birthday is coming up here on the 6th of January. if I could have this design done on my nails, it would be one of the best presents ever. but sadly, I live in the USA. Never hurts to dream tho. As always you rock the nail world with your brightness, quirkiness and ever beautiful smile. You always make the day brighter for all of us who watch you. May your New Year 2019, be your best year ever Kirsty. Mad love being sent to you and Adam. Keep on rockin it

I am so glad you're doing multiple videos of different designs using the cat eye effect gels I have gotten sick and tired of the same old size patterns that I create. I am in love with this one However I don't have the right colors for this one so now I must go buy some more LOL. I think all of my clients would agree with me though oh, I must go shopping

This was just so gorgeous I was waiting for this - thought you'd already posted it and I wasn't able to find it (I think you had mentioned in a previously published video and I probably missed you saying that it was upcoming) I was quite panicked to think I wouldn't see it - I'm so glad I didn't miss it Did NOT disappoint Just beautiful

Mush - also something you say to sled dogs to signal them to go, and the person who drives the sled is called a musher. Honestly, I thought that was what Adam was going to say when he started laughing. Accidental, yet apt word for northern lights nails

Goodness Kirsty that's a STUNNER oh gosh I would live to have a full set of that design. I love how you're teaching us different ways we can use the Cat Eyes line. hmmm, could that be intentional? Ah I love it. Thank you so much for teaching us this Well done

Hello Kristy I love your videos I was wondering if it is possible to use the netting to press into gel to create a scale look, or if you can only it it. It would be cool to see the mermaid scale effect with a magnetic polish.

I hope you have a video of your nails. So pretty. I'd love to see some longer videos with some overall results again. I don't know how any one else feels but, the lone nail pieces miss a lot of the process.
