Today Sarah shows you this cute design that didn't turn out quite how she'd hoped but hey ho, happy accidents! Sarah starts off building these classic square acrylics using our Soft Beige and then once that is all filed Sarah pops two coats of the Serious Black gel polish as the base for the stamped design. Once Sarah stamps the design she takes a selection of our neon acrylic powders and brushes them over the top, the adds a cute coloured background to the full design. Sarah finishes off with the Urban Graffiti top coat and some of our new lush smelling cuticle oil

From the amount of tutorials I've seen doing stamping art they all use gel polish with a tacky layer to get it to stick to the stamped design. It also works with no wipe top coat too but normal stamping polish dries too fast to do anything but stamp. I haven't tried it myself as I don't like the bright colours but I've done it with chrome and it works really well. Were you using acrylic or pigment powders because pigment powders are super fine and very very opaque and the horrible stuff goes everywhere I expect that would have stuck to the dried polish as it sticks to everything. I bought a set in case anyone wants a design with neon pigment and it came in a 12 grid case unsealed just in a ziplock plastic bag and the stuff has leaked out everywhere all over the bag and for the price I paid I was expecting it to come in screw top tubs. I have the delightful job of putting the 12 colours into separate pots wearing gloves and without breathing so the stuff does not go all over my desk. I want to bin it but it was 20 quid and a little goes a long way it's only the pink and orange that have leaked but omg what a mess you can't see in the bag at all the inside is coated in neon pink and orange. I've never received any pigments in a 12 grid plastic case before these grids are meant for nail art and Rhinestones they are not seal tight. The nails look very pretty I do like white over black it's very classy

I really like some of the art that Sarah does, but I'm curious why this video even got released? I see it says 'Nail Art For Beginners', but surely this is supposed to still be a tutorial? The whole idea seems flawed from the start. Pigment powders would have been better than acrylic powder. It would have probably looked more like the original plan if it had been top coated, coloured with Sharpies and top coated again.

I m surprised the acrylic stuck to any of it. That sticky layer on the black saved the day. It would be way cooler I think if the color was for the stamped part but it s good it stuck somewhere at least! Lol
