YES to UOMA Beauty for breaking beauty standards and celebrating culture Lemme know what other brands you would like to see Melissa M - Naturealizta.beauty: Just beautiful I I love it My take on other brands coming out with shades: dont do it for a trend, just to get the black community to spend money. Actually get to know our undertones and that we all arent just red we have hyperpigmentation, different colored surface tones, and undertones. Explore color NAME options, and also create other beauty products to go with that foundation. Like dont release foundation, and forget about concealer, blushes, bronzers, contours, nude lips, pressed and loose powders. If you gonna do it, then fckin DO IT And actually care. Collaborate with brown people for help. with PUR they actually had a great shade range despite it being 100 shades. but now what

I agree with all the diversity revolution in the beauty world. My comment is about PUR and their 100 shades. I think its genius. Usually brands launch products catering to the majority with a few dark shades thrown in, and say we wanna see how it goes before we launch more shades. We have dragged brands for doing this. But PUR did the opposite. They launched a crapload of shades, and I'd assume they will start dialing them back or refining them based on feedback.

Patrick Ta - is NOT doing anything for black women. The ones he rocks with seem to be no darker than Beyonce/you can't tell they are black, hell they barely got his PR packages - we aren't checking for him. Chasing brands to see us is over. He may be a person of color, but colorism is real. Neither he nor Nikita cares about diversity in color.

I feel like brands are trying to millions of shades to portray the inclusive card. Theres nothing worst than a brand having a million shades of grey and there STILL be nothing for you. Even in eyeshadows, we dont get a lot of transition and crease shades and its a bit frustration. But Im hopeful. i have to be

Now I have some more brands to try out - this is great However, being Canadian, I'll have to wait to go down to the US and hope our dollar is better. Shipping and customs fees make it cost-prohibitive to support these brands. We only have a 20 (Canadian) duty-free allowance for online purchases. abysmal.

Great video & always love to know where to spend my coin on black & brown beauty brands. quick side-note: The clip of that girl when you said musicians (rosalia) she ain't POC. She's some singer from spain sis, do not let the language use fool you. She does not represent the Latinx community.

I really love this video to include black and brown owned But I must honestly say that I would have really loved for you to have used some products from The Crayon Case especially after your last video with Moschino brand really wasnt original with their concept.

Your title is ridiculous. Black and Brown owned. Arent Black people brown? What you mean are African Americans Nobody is truly the color black, I do find that offensive and you should be more sensitive in your wording.

Minted Cosmetics makes nude lip colors for black women. darker skin women that aren't that pink nude that the industry has said is for everyone. They have a shade for everyone -who says nude is just for white women.
